Is that like a cross between McBain and Mr Bean?

Haha he is 202cm tall and for a while I though McBean was just a nickname. Lucky his parents didnt call him Jack

WTF? Liam got to and played at the highest level?

His issues were, not only unique, but hardly down to the MFC.

Quite different to Richmond eg Relton Roberts and Troy Taylor

Yep he did real well with Wona and Jurrah and Bennell, Motlop, Weetra and Jetta. Got em all firing.

Well he was there mentoring blokes like Jurrah and Wonna and things still went pear shaped.

I think its the right thing for him to move on, at his prime he was great to watch and a great servant of the club, but I don't see him as a great coach. the opposition got under his skin and could defeat him too easily at times, and unfortunately was typical of our yo yo fortunes at the times he played. hard to gain respect when players know that.

dedicated for an aboriginal player but he was never a great leader once on the field.

Going so well until that slipped in. In fact, I agree with everything else you've said. But that little lurking racism makes it all turn to cr4p.

Yes, it is racist to say that people of a certain background are less likely to be dedicated and professional. Well duh.

Yeah, the walkabout factor is a real problem. How good might O'Loughlin and Goodes have been without it?

Yep.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
