My god you are dumb.

The line claiming Frawley stated he wants out was false. Fact.

You had many chances to correct it. Fact.

The rest is irrelevant. Fact.

your very mischievous I think.

Far be it from me to say it, but just let it go guys...

Thread has been derailed.

Every sane person knows Frawley hasn't publicly declared he wants to leave.

Anything to add?

Mahoney stated back in May at a pre game function when the we played Freo that they were working on Frawley's extension.

To think that he does not have it in front of him by now is delusional.

anyone who doesnt think Frawley is very seriously considering leaving is delusional. he could be influenced either way depending on how next season pans out. gld hes RFA and not UFA

Offer him plenty and fast. Make him an offer he cant refuse. If we want him to stay get serious with him. If Heath Shaw is worth $800k what's JF worth? Fantastic player and true A grader. If he needs a house in the Bahamas he gets that too!

& if we finish around 14th with 6 or 7 wins?

its time to offer the contract to James Now. if he rejects it ?

If Paul Roos was serious when he talked about players being traded before becoming FA then he needs to take the Frawley deal by the scruff of the neck and tell him to sign it or inform the club he is leaving. None of this see how we go crap .. does he think we will improve in a season ? I have my doubts as good as Roos is. Surely he knows whether or not he wants to sign or leave by now. Especially if the AFL is serious with scrapping compensation picks, we need to get the best for him while we can if he is not going to sign.

I think there is a fine balance to be met here. I trust Paul Roos and those that are in place around him, to get it right. On the one had, we must be level-headed and ensure we don't act like a desperate basket-case. However (and obviously this is speculation on my behalf) there's absolutely no doubt Chip has/is considering the possibility of leaving. Mahoney mentioned earlier in the year that we were trying to put an offer together for Chip and yet we've heard nothing. I'll leave it at that, but we must get our ship in order and obviously this is what the AFL have been conscious of since round 2. I'll be confident of retaining Chip if we improve next year and we offer him a big, long-term contract. RFA is on our side this time, so we have the power, which is fortunate, given it could be his final contract.

Now THAT I can agree with.

And I don't blame him.

If things don't change for the better in 2014, I'd want to be out too.

He's put up with a lot.

And I'd want to leave myself that option, so wouldn't sign an extension until I'd seen evidence of change.

I have a mate who is an acquaintance of JF through knowing his girlfriend, and he continually runs it in my face that the guy says "It's really hard just losing all the time, sometimes it feels like it'll never end, that he hates it and would do anything to change it."

I'd be really concerned if he didn't have that attitude.

My mate tells him he should go to Hawthorn, and apparently JF tells him to get stuffed, as nicely as possible.

Anyway, we can match any offer he gets, and he wants to stay.

The only thing that might change that is the club's incompetence, and if that's the case he shouldn't be the one wearing the blame

True, there is a balance.

Getting pushy about signing an extension won't do any good for the club.

It'll just pi55 a player off and drive him away even quicker.

You'll just guarantee the result you're trying to avoid.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
