(1) How to destroy the confidence of soi many players.Watt's is not defender. What about making him a ruck rover resting in the forward pocket!

(2) Making Grimes and Trengrove co captains,a definite form killer. What about the coach using some psychology(brain [censored]) make the leadership group Sylvia(capt),Jamar(vc),davey,Rodan,Byrnes and N.Jones.If any one or more don't live up to expectations bye bye back to reserves, must lead by example.

and none of this emergency crap.

(3)Our game plan is....How about adopting the Swans game plan, select the appropriate players best suited to that style, what could be more simpler.

(4)When selecting a mature age person i.e Magner,Couch.as a rookie the club should have respect towards them by promoting them to the seniors after the 1st year or delete them not

have them back on the rookie list.

(5) Producing the 5 things we learned, typical school teacher crap.It is sickening to read,p.ss weak excuses,No positives in 100 disposals less or the team is inexperience than the opposition.

I've learnt 2 things.

Right now life is better when I don't listen to interstate games.

The Sandy pub no longer does a good Parma.

Everyone's learning.

What are you going on about? Being called a tool has no bearing on your background, and if you put up a comment prepare for all sorts of answers. I would say that comment about race moved you to troll status.

Lighten up Francis. Wayne, sorry Enyaw, made some comments that DazzleDavey found unusual. Connecting that to racism is quite extraordinary. For that reason, Wayne, sorry Enyaw, is pardoned and you are the new Tool of the Week....unless of course, I'm being racist to those with red and blue eyes. In which case, I'm tool of the week.

Nothing to do with racism, unnecessary and derogatory is my beef mate.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

It seems like only yesterday that these two sides faced off against each other in the centre of the continent. It was when Melbourne was experiencing a rare period of success with five wins from its previous six matches including victories over both of last year’s grand finalists.  Well, it wasn’t yesterday but it was early last month and it remains etched clearly in the memory. The Saints were going through a slump and the predicted outcome of their encounter at TIO Traeger Park was a virtual no-brainer. A Melbourne victory and another step closer to a possible rise into finals contention. Something that was unthinkable after opening the season with five straight defeats.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.
