So this week is my first time seeing a Dees game at the 'G, what I would like to know is where do our fans sit and will we have an assigned section for members? Thanks

Ive asked similar questions myself! If it was a home game i'd say the olympic stand is the best place to sit if your using your interstate membership card. Being an away game not so sure

As it's an away game, there isn't a designated area for MFC members (even though your membership will gain you entry this week in lieu of the Darwin game).

During previous away games against the Bombers, the MFC cheersquad (and many supporters) tend to be at the city end of the ground behind the goals.

Still the Northern or Olympic stand

The only dees area as such at an away game is the reserved section.

Not sure but you may be still able to reserve a seat

Otherwise you are bound to be near Bomber fans as I doubt there will be many Dees in the public sections

But contact the club they might make arrangements for interstate vistors.

My son and I went in through Gate 3 last Sunday.= I imagine that this is normally a great spot... but really, nowhere was a great spot to sit last Sunday.

I guess it was a long trip home Hard Track....Good effort for coming though....

From our website it says as a member we get in for free with your card as it is our 'Darwin Game, swap and seating is as follows

General Admission Seating

Ponsford Stand M28-M33, Q29-Q36

Olympic Stand Q49- Q57

Southern Stand M1- M4, Q1-Q15½

Yes... but as I said in another thread, my son getting to meet and have his photo taken with a whole bunch of his heroes, made it a lot easier to take. The club really did look after him well and the players were fantastic.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
