5 other clubs thought he was not a round 1 selection- GC had 7 chances at him- they took two forwards before him and he was the third forward picked in that draft.

I remember the calls for the "Cookie Monster" to be unleashed..... well now he has, just not the way I'd imagined it. Bit of a disappointment, but luckily for me I've gotten used to that.

Yeah yeah even Buddy was overlooked by the Hawks before they took him......

If Goodoil is right about Cook being told mid year that he would be delisted, its plausible that a young player would lose motivational and be dispirited. I think the decision has been made early by the Club and some of the reasons given by posters may be more a consequence of the early call by the club rather than being an influencing reason.

Your constant backing of the decision made to draft Cook at 12 is entertaining to say the least.

Stop with the excuses. Please. Save yourself.

It was a poor and I'll conceived choice. He (LC) didn't fail so much as the selectors.

We know what happened, we f*#ked up.

All you do now is cut your loss and move on.

i totally agree...but i have no problem with people talking about it.

For too long supporters said nothing and accepted what we got each year.

You are the one who talks of the new broom BB.

A vent is ok with me.
