[He's gone gone gone. If he wasn't this time last week then the shambles exposed in the past six days gives him all the reason he needs.

Dodgy knee and all.

I have got to the stage that I do not care any longer.

There are more important things to be fixed at The dees than TS.

This.

The club has the week it has, and where do some minds go?

"This is because of Tom Scully!!"

We need to get our house in order.

Thats what I am saying with all the other problems I don't care about TS.

I agree with you probably got bugger all to do with Tom.

I am certainly not blaming him for starters he has hardly played this year.

Just do not care anymore.

Nearly 12,000 posts here and you still can't see the writing on the wall. Renounce ostrichism before it is too late or you will go blind.

I'm not sure what this means.....?

Isn't the White Maggot a satire site like The Onion? I hope not, because otherwise you're proposing that the work of comedians is evidence. Anyway...

I'm not trying to say anything; just clarifying the post you quoted, since you seemed to overlook some key words when making your reply.

However, I'll bite anyway.

He doesn't owe it to the Club and fellow players to make a decision before the end of the season, just like the Clubs don't 'owe it' to their players to tell them before the end of the season that they're getting delisted etc. It works both ways.

Oops .... yeh it is ...oh well. The Phillips part is at least fact lol

Oh, you don't need to clarify.... i think i was spot on if you weren't saying anything.

I never said he owed it to make a decision. Just let them know of his likely intentions. I'm sure many players have been dropped towards the end of their careers and been told by the club their services aren't required any further with some notice so they're able to look for an alternative. Not saying it's common practice as each situation would no doubt be different, but i'm sure it's happened on occasions.

Cheers

Nobody is.

He's one of demonland's *special* posters that talk in riddles.

Hope that Gary has come in and asked exactly what his intentions are

This saga parodies the entire club

Too much shirking the contest

Hope that Gary has come in and asked exactly what his intentions are

Think he has already done that.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
