I know you have to ask the council for a permit to train on the ground but seeing as our youngsters wouldnt have played on there except for maybe un 18's I would think the smart thing to do was have a light skills session or even a walk around the ground to see how different it is to the G.

Everyone knows the boundaries are different and when kicking you dont kick down the wings near the boundary but thats what we were doing. I just hope that Cameron or Chris sounded it out to have a session on there. I know we did it one year.

You'd hope so, Ch 10 news on Friday said we were staying the night there. Maybe that was the problem, I think that is unnecessary.

We did, the witches hats won by 4 goals.

Yes we did.

According to World Champion Tweeter Nathan Jones ...

nathan2jones Nathan Jones Heading back toward Geelong, session at Skilled this arvo, ripping day for it! Hopefully she's like this tomorrow (28 July)

Another 3K+ down the drain by staying overnight in Geelong. We did the same thing last year and got belted. I rememmber last year one player interviewed on radio said he would rather spend the night at home in his own bed.

Yeah, they also mentioned on SEN pre match that we'd trained on the ground.
