GOD DAMN WATTS ON FIRE MATE.

You show those mother******* why you were #1..

WATT a sheperd!!! he is doing all the right things today good boy!!

Yes, I also notice Bailey is in the box. Nice to see Bartram get on the board and great to see Jones doing well again... his kicking has improved out of sight.

Keep the commentary coming guys relying on your updates as I'm in Borneo by the pool!

HT

Melbourne 6.11.47

Adelaide 5.3.33

Watts 2, Bartram, Jurrah, Dunn, Tapscott

Adelaide kicked 2 goals in the last 3 mins to cut margin from 26pts to 14

Watts on fire

What are you doing beside a pool in Borneo?? You should be up the Skrang river in a long house... now, that's an experience.

How the [censored] does Bate only have 2 possessions.

I'm about to jump the fence and slap him across the head. Wtf was Bailey thinking, bringing in Bate instead of Martin only to throw him down back and have him fail miserably? FMD!

Grimsey :( hope it's not too serious.

I'm worried we are going to run out of legs so we have to open a bigger lead or they'll run us over in the last.

Watts and Tappy

Yep been there done that...time for relax today and stay close to the hotel so I can get wifi on my phone!

I see Green and Trengove have 15 disposals each and 5 and 4 tackles respectively. Views on these two in terms of influence?

Bailey's in the box because it's effin cold!!!

Different team this week. Pushing/pressing up MUCH further, even leaving an Adelaide forward out the back occasionally (which hurt us once).

Tackling. Smothering. No bloody corralling. More often though not often enough taking first options.

Jurrah's been great. Would be nice to see him stick a tackle or two though.

The overhead defensive efforts of the midfielders, especially punching, has been great to see.

Love Tappy. But why would he ever pass backwards to Warnock??

Green has been active to say the least. Missed a goal. His set shot is not what it was. Big improvement from last week.

Trenner's is a gun. Seem's to be there to get melb out of trouble. His disposals are all class.

Pleasing to see Green has lifted as he should. Trenners is mr reliable and absolutely a gun.

Judging by the thread Watts has also lifted, Watts he doing different today that is having more impact?

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
