The moderating team, in respect to Jimmy, his family and the club as a whole, have decided that speculation about Jimmy's health should not be perpetuated on the forum.

There are threads already that you can add your support for Jim to. However, speculation does nothing but needlessly upset those who read or hear it.

In a way, Kallioota is right, & so are you. It's about respect.

so, If you had of PM'd him with that answer at the time of deleting that thread, he wouldn't feel less &/or embarrassed & would have imediately understood.

IMO we need to handle these things better, for all. Jimmy's about respect & I know he would like us to handle these things respectfully. Good & respectfull communication is the key.

I don't particularly think that Kallioota feels disrepected, if so I apologize.

However you also must understand that when going on an iphone and doing other things at the same time, it isn't always possible to provide reasoning straight away.

I would have PM'd, but I think this information should be open so that other posters know Demonland's stance.

Kallioota I believe understands. Some things whilst moderating may not be addressed in the time frame you would like. We moderate where possible and observe when possible. Address it when possible.

We're all for good & respectful communication and 45HG16 has provided that I believe.

I started a similar thread a few days ago that was taken down and nobody informed me. Although I fully understand the reasoning behind the mods decision.

Thanks kallioota.

That is nice to see you as a Mod congratulate a poster whom accordingly recognises why his thread/post has been taken away. HT as a mod you are generally very understanding.Hope you and others are as tolerant, understanding and courteous as you are on this occasion.

No not a suck job- just a compliment for when it is due-You should know my personality by now. However, if I or another poster are in the wrong judged by a mod- it could be gracious of them to explain after action has been taken. Then we know why with explanation. Your post regarding the poster recognising why his had been taken off only helps goodwill. By the way ,I wouldn't suck to you or any Mod.,however in fairness you are a prolific poster as well, therefore you understand us well.

One of the threads contained misleading and incorrect statements about Jim's health which would cause additional, unnecessary distress to Jim, his family, close friends and many supporters.

Let's all respect the privacy of Jim and his family and look forward to enjoying 2011 with him as our President.

In the meantime, this thread is closed.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
