Number of games (108)

Year of birth (1984)

Debut year (2003)

Rising star nominee year (2004)

Both a part of the leadership group (Thanks 45 - That will do for the 5th)

Another RR, that's all we need...

So, I need to PM my answer to you HT? Or I just post in this thread?

A bit unsure.

Just post.

Ok, I'm guessing half of these (haven't researched any of it):

1. Drafted the same year

2. Both in leadership group

3. Both have a jumper number in the 20s

4. Won a rising star nomination in the same year

5. Share the same age

Same number of games - really?

Wow.

Both have been massively injury plagued.

(What are the rules for this game?)

It's a quiz - just answer the question as best you can.

Same number of career brownlow votes

Nope

Both use Twitter

Both probably like Entourage and Zoolander.

Both probably like Entourage and Zoolander.

Favourite movie answer for about 40% of them used to be Zoolander and Old School

Ok. Pretty good. The answers that I was looking for were: -

1/ Debuted same year (2003)

2/ Both part of the leadership group

3/ Both have played 108 AFL senior games

4/ Both are currently 26 years of age or born in the same year

5/ Both played 18 games in the 2010 season.

Rover unsure on the Brownlow votes but if true that is amazing.

Obvious one was they have jumpers in their 20's

I didn't have the rising star nom in same year, but well done if that is correct.

Ox_5 - well done 4/5 and first posted.

Next question to follow...

Ok trigger fingers ready....

Question 2

Who are the 3 Melbourne players who played all 22 AFL games in the 2010 season ?

As the winner of the 1st question, am I awarded a priority selection to be taken at the start of the 12th round?

I don't think the draft is going anywhere unfortunately. Hour of power not looking too powerful!

Jones, Green, Jamar.

Jones was dropped for a game but came in as emergency.

Question 3

Which currently listed Melbourne player has the highest average of 2.41 goals per game ?

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
