Probably unfair to you to have to PM a few picks with back ups, as you could easily miss out on something.

I think waiting over the weekend is reasonable, personally.

PMing picks is only something that should be done a couple of picks in advance.

Otherwise you're short-changing yourself by not having all the information at hand.

You might assume certain players are gone that could change your strategy.

Having said that, I have a bit of work on today, so I'm going to PM my 2 picks to old55 now.

PM me a pick for each day you wont be around and one extra in case your selection gets taken - that will cover the 24 hour rule.

I'm gonna be interstate on business from Sunday night and will have less access next week myself.

No worries old. If a decision could be made before the next pick that would be helpful for planning going ahead

Fair enough - let's go with you can make your wild card pick at any time

Gives more flexibility.

Just had an idea re a scoring system at the end of the Draft.

Once all 10 teams are fully selected, we're given a day to sort through our 18 players for a final team sheet submission.

Each team manager would then analyze the other nine teams (you can't vote for your own) and then rate them using a 5-4-3-2-1 style voting system and then submit to old55 in a private ballot. Or even a top 9 so all teams receive votes.

It would be a fun way to analyze each side, providing a finite result to the whole exercise.

What do you think?

Nope.

I've focused on building a team, not selecting the best rated players.

I've also chosen based on how I expect them to perform in 2011 & the future, rather than on previous performances.

There's unfortunately no decent way of judging this.

Edit: think I misunderstood.

Thought you meant individual players.

I'm happy with that system. Why not?

Sorry to clarify I meant the team. We would look at each others' teams and rate them based on an assault on the 2011 flag.

Just another fun add-on to be able to analyze and rate...

Edit: I have edited my original post so as to clarify

We just need Eth around and we could swing through a few

I gotta pop out for 20 minutes now - Eth isnt around but I wont be long if he does turn up

By the way old - pick 60 above should be HT

2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury.
