Nathan Carroll

Did anyone see the men's fashions in the field at Derby Day? I was watching on TV and the first bloke up was Nathan Carroll "a tradie from the North-West". Was it our old player wih a makeover?

I believe he is back at home in WA atm.

On an unrelated note, I saw Jamar in GA on the grass right near the finish line. Had a members pass dangling from his pocket but for whatever reason was in GA with us peasants...

There's an "In Soviet Russia..." line in there somewhere.

He was flying back here every week to play for St Kilda City so I wouldn't be surprised if he fired up and came over to get on it during the racing carnival.

Every second week Nafe flew in as he is working 2 weeks on/off in Pt Hedland.

But he has signed up with the City for 2011 and is bringing Ben Holland(so they say).

Instrumental in St Kilda City's Premiership against the odds against Chelsea heights.

He did look DAPPER- Good luck to him.

They must have patched things up after Carroll biffed him!

Yes it does seem strange that they are mates, but he is good mates with Ezra Poyas as well, which is strange considering what Ive heard on these boards about his dis-honourable discharge.

I must add I dont know him and wouldnt say hello out and about.

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.
