I watched the Denver-SD game yesterday as well, albeit knowing the result, couldnt believe the way Rivers self destructed! That was an all time choke.

Full credit to Peyton, he was putting the ball right between the numbers of his receivers too, a real great win - that division is theirs for the taking now given

the Raiders and Chiefs are stinking it up again.

Cant wait for tomorrow mornings game, Wilson has been mightily impressive for a rookie, lets hope we dont see too may skittle incidents either. I was totally

shocked at the way the Giants dismantled the Niners game on Monday, it looked like the bad old days for Smith again and Gore didnt have a single carry in

the second half.

Be intersesting to see how RGIII goes against the Giants this week. Ravens lose their spiritual leader for the year, and possibly forever, but the Ravens are

still cruising in their division.

NFC North will be possibly the most interesting Division from here to the end of regular season, 3 genuinely decent teams on evidence so far. Could the

Packers miss on the playoffs? Based on Rodgers game this week you'd say no but the VIkings and Bears intra Division games will be crucial.

Falcons continue to roll, I havent seen a single game of theirs this year, is Matt Ryan in All-Pro form or have the whole team stepped up?

I'm still not totally sold on Atlanta though it's hard to fault winning form . Their schedule isn't too tough from here on in so they could easily end up with the 1 seed . They could 'Dome it' right through to the Super Bowl (which is at the Superdome)

Should be a good one tomorrow . Harbaugh will have your blokes fired up you'd reckon .

VIKINGS (-5.5) over Cardinals

I still believe in the Vikings — you could see that Week 6 stumble in Chocolate City coming from a mile away. Now here's a case where the Year of the Underdog helps a "favorite" pick: The Cardinals can't block and can't play from behind, and now they're in a dome against Jared Allen and a team that loves playing with a lead. The line should be higher.

Giants are looking pretty decent for a team who lost 2 starters to FA, Have a different receiver go down every week and the hardest draw, but Eli stepping it up the way he did last year. And how good is it having Peyton back in the league, absolute joy to watch.

Reckon this is the most even race for a while now, agree about not being convinced by the Falcons and Baltimore have lost Rice for the season. Going to be there throughout the play offs so really looking forward to it!

Was an interesting game between the niners and seahawks. Our division is wide open for once and the fact that the Rams are 2-0 in the division beating the seahawks and Cardinals gives me some deluded hope :)

With all 4 teams I believe in the top 10 total defense I think the NFC west has become a really interesting division.

ps I love Lynch for Seattle, he is a gem to watch.

I'll be using my swot vac period effectively, planning on getting up to catch the second half of the Rams Packers game. If Long and Quinn can bring the heat and minimise Rodger's impact we may be a chance but the depleted offensive line will have to keep Clay Matthews out of Sammy's face. Although he threw for 300 last week he needs to execute in the red zone if we are to take the W, can't expect the defence to keep this Packers juggernaut under 21

May the better team win 'Hipster' :) What's the odds on a close finish ?

A lot riding on this game . The loser will have a reasonably long haul back in either of their divisions . Being a 16 game season , teams that fall too far back start running out of games . Especially in our divisions, with every team being at least competitive .

Yeah our offensive numbers are great except for the final ball into the endzone.

Clay Matthews I usually love watching but dear god I reckon he will scare the beejezus out of our offensive line and Bradford.

We really need a strong running game to ensure the don't constantly strong blitz Bradford.

Good morning for some games. I thought Jets were terrible this season but New England needed overtime to beat them.

Watched the giants redskins game and washington fought brilliantly, but 4 turnovers in the 2nd half (5 all year was their downfall) Still thought they had won it when RGIII threw for a touchdown but then Eli one again showed his class to win it

And how unlucky were Tampa bay! 2 TD in the last 10 seconds both not given, last one very unlucky.

Vikings win in unconvincing style. Thank god for Peterson who ran for 150+ yards. Ponder doesn't have much form at the moment. He went the longest out of any starting QB to not throw a pick and now he can't stop throwing them. I need the bears to lose but I can't see that happening. Anyone watch the Houston Baltimore game?

The best team certainly won Macca, a garbage time touchdown made the scoreline appear respectable but Rodgers smoked our acclaimed secondary and Sam failed to get any rhythm going for much of the game with most drives stalling around the 50. Showed we still have some work to do if we are to match it with the big guys, while Packers' receiving group seems to be back on fire with Nelson and Cobb getting their 2011 form back.

In other games, a Ray Lewis depleted Ravens defence were trampled on by the Texans offence which seem to be back on track after a hurdle last week and can stake their claim as AFC's best.

I've still only seen edited highlights but from what I can gather, Rodgers had a huge game again . He's an immense player when on song and unfortunately for your blokes, he stepped it up again today . As you're no doubt aware , the Rams play New England next week at Wembley - another big game !

No real surprises today although the Jets and Redskins were both unlucky to lose . Houston made a statement and the Saints won again . With Brees at the helm they're capable of winning quite a few more games and will at least provide nuisance value . Their defence is woeful though and remains their achilles' heal .

Need the Lions to win tomorrow :-)

Edit : Just noticed that the Rams / Patriots game is on at Wembley Stadium (corrected post)

I'm with you macca go lions. You must be getting confident about the packers they look pretty good. I think your blokes [censored] Houston off.

Confident, sort of . Bit concerned about the Bears - if they keep winning it might be out of your blokes and mine for a wild-card spot . Dare I say it , at Green Bay we're taking it "One week at a time" . Although It may well come down to the 2 games that we play each other (week's 13 and 17) .

Btw , how'd ya pull up after yesterday's 'Footy Forum' games ? Good to see we got another overall victory !

Rogers was huge, he was 20/22 at one stage with 200+ yards.

Rams still have a fair way to go, and I agree with hipster the TD at the end was flattering to us, but still we had good numbers again just can't put score pressure on opponents. But if you offered 3-4 at the start of the year I would have taken it.

Vikings aren't in much form at the moment ponder had 8 completions with 2 picks. The bears defense would tear us apart and we can't go toe to toe with that offense of green bay.

I pulled up very stiff from footy glenferrie oval was rock hard. I'm out with general soreness for the next six months. Those bomber boys try so hard and are starting to get lippy on the field. Might see if clay Matthews is a demonland member he could come in handy next year.

Ha ha ! Well done to you blokes all the same .

Those Lions were somehow still in the game right to the end despite being woeful in the red zone . In all honesty the Bears should have put Detroit away by the end of the 3rd quarter . Cutler took a huge hit from Ndamukong Suh . He seemed to recover ok but he'll no doubt have a bit of 'General soreness' himself tomorrow .

In the States, some are describing this 'Tackle' as some sort of 'WWE' move . Suh is just a beast of a man !

JT9 you are spot on.

That game (as I was anticipating) was pretty bad to watch, so great plays but over all a real average game to watch.

I watched because chicago was my last leg in a 10/1 multi so at least i got that

Those lions are in a lot of trouble. I know the NFC north is a tough division but I didn't see them being last. Should be a easy win for green bay this week and Jennings may return this week or next. Your of fence hasn't missed him much though.

Apparently each game held in the UK has sold out in rapid time . In 2008 there were 500,000 applications for tickets and they had to ballot them out in the end . Prices range from 45 - 100 pounds .

Yeah , that Giants at Dallas game holds a lot of interest . Always a big clash between those 2 rivals . Atlanta at the Eagles will be interesting as well . Quite a few good games this week . Washington at Pittsburgh is another good match-up as well as MNF and SNF .

And 'cfh' , your blokes are finally on the tele tomorrow ! On ESPN and not OneHD this week

Yes I finally get to see the Vikings but I'm happy to watch josh freeman too I think he is a damn good QB. Ponder should get some good numbers today the bucs secondary is pretty ordinary and if that fails we will just give it to Peterson he never fails.

  • PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

With both sides precariously positioned ahead of the run home to the finals, only one team involved in Sunday’s clash at the Adelaide Oval between the Power and the Demons will remain a contender when it’s over.  On current form, that one team has to be Melbourne which narrowly missed out on defeating the competition’s power house Collingwood on King's Birthday and also recently overpowered both 2024 Grand Finalists. Conversely, Port Adelaide snapped out of a four-game losing streak with a win against the Giants in Canberra. Although they will be rejuvenated following that victory, their performances during that run of losses were sub par and resulted in some embarrassing blow out defeats.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • PREGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons are set to embark on a four-week road trip that takes them across the country, with two games in Adelaide and a clash on the Gold Coast, broken up by a mid-season bye. Next up is a meeting with the inconsistent Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
