Ravens withdraw from Crosby Trade, seems he failed his medical.

I saw some comments (cant tell if true, supposedly by a Raiders staffer) that he isn't as sober as he claims and likes to smoke too.

Or maybe his knee is just not good.

Yeah thats a great get by KC, Mahomes will take time to get back to his best and if he doesnt have to lead their rushing like he normally does would help them, Also weakens seattle which I like.

Yeah it modifies their offense and there's a good line to run behind.

Don't know what the Hawks plan is considering Charbonnet is set to miss most of next season.

Love me a conspiracy theory!

Ravens backed out and made the physical harder to pass as they realised Henderson would be cheaper and not cost them two first rounders.

Who doesn't love a good torpedo to the 'NFL stockmarket'.

There's already more theories than 9-11:

"Ravens didn't like the recovery time compared to the two first rounders"

"Maxx's agent sucked them in by pumping up his recovery status"

"People don't know how long it takes to recover from a meniscus tear. Ravens underestimated it"

Most of these are total BS and naive.

Yours actually sounds plausible though. Only 2 years older and similar sack count.

It's becoming more obvious why the Raiders sat him in those last two games though.

Hendrickson isnt as good, but he also has played a lot less snaps over the last 6 years with Crosby taking the most defensive snaps of any player in the league.

On their day I'm taking Crosby 100%.

But Hendrickson gets his share of production and will help them for sure.

People want the Ravens investigated!

Colts and Daniel Jones finalise a 2 year $88m deal. $50m guaranteed this year.

Yeah has been paid so much for delivering so little over his whole career, Yes he looked good for half of last years but he always seems to get injured.

Osa Odighizuwa to the Niners for a measly 3rd round pick.

Stoked about this one. He had more pressures than our whole D-Line this season. Bryce Huff retired so he'll fit the scheme well.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is now the highest paid receiver in football. 4 year, $168.6m with $120m guaranteed.

@Gorgoroth what do you think this means for Nacua's next contract?

It means the Rams should have paid Nacua first P
$169m with $121m Guaranteed. tbh I reckon $170 even. but Nacua will break that, I'd love to see him sign for less and help us build a better roster, but highly doubt that occurs.

It's official. Friday, September 11 at 10:35am - 49ers vs Rams at the MCG.

@Gorgoroth come with your dukes stuck up in advance.

Courtesy of 'AI' ... (sad to see Willis go but the Packers obviously couldn't stand in his way - I rated the bloke highly)

"As of late March 2026, following the opening of free agency, the NFL is buzzing with major veteran quarterback relocations, surprise trades, and the fallout from the 2025 postseason.

Here are the top 10 talking points in the NFL today:

  1. Kyler Murray to the Vikings: In a move considered one of the best value signings of the offseason, Kyler Murray signed a one-year deal with Minnesota for the veteran minimum ($1.3M) after being released by the Cardinals.

  2. Malik Willis Lands in Miami: The Dolphins bet on high-upside, signing Malik Willis to a three-year deal with $45M guaranteed, expecting him to be their new franchise quarterback after releasing Tua Tagovailoa.

  3. Tua Tagovailoa Resurfaces in Atlanta: The Falcons signed Tua Tagovailoa to a one-year deal, setting up a potential competition and a fresh start for the veteran quarterback under coach Kevin Stefanski.

  4. The Failed Maxx Crosby Trade Fallout: The Ravens "gutted" themselves after pulling out of a massive trade for Raiders star Maxx Crosby due to medical concerns, subsequently signing edge rusher Trey Hendrickson instead.

  5. Chiefs Land RB Kenneth Walker III: In a move to fix their underwhelming run game, Kansas City signed former Seahawks star Kenneth Walker III, bringing a needed explosive element to their backfield.

  6. Rams Revamp Secondary with Trent McDuffie: The Rams made the biggest blockbuster trade of the offseason by acquiring All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs, aiming to secure their defensive backfield for a championship push.

  7. Mike Evans Joins the 49ers: Veteran WR Mike Evans left Tampa Bay to join San Francisco on a three-year deal, providing a needed vertical threat to complement the 49ers' offensive weapons.

  8. Raiders Aggressively Rebuild Defense: Following the failed Crosby trade, the Raiders spent heavily to improve their defense, adding key players like center Tyler Linderbaum, linebackers Quay Walker and Nakobe Dean, and defensive end Kwity Paye.

  9. Panthers Build around Bryce Young: Carolina had a strong free agency, locking up edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd to high-value contracts, significantly strengthening their front seven.

  10. 2026 NFL Draft QB Questions: With the Raiders expected to draft QB Fernando Mendoza at No. 1, many teams are analyzing a 2026 draft class deemed relatively weak at quarterback, highlighting the heavy reliance on veteran"

Myles Garrett on the trade table? The Browns just restructured his contract and would have much less of a dead cap hit if they trade him.

What do you think? Could Myles Garrett actually be traded? Call in with your thoughts.

The mock drafts are dropping and most of them are treating this year's QB class with contempt. Most I have seen so far have Fernando Mendoza going no.1 as the sole QB in the first round. Mel Kiper and Charles Davis the only ones who think Ty Simpson will be in the first 32 picks.

If you thought Aaron Rodgers' wait in the green room was long, Simpson's could go into the next day..
