12 of those boys are WAY better than the others.

The only problem:

We won't know which 12 for many years.

The only answer:

Never trade out of the top 12?

No.

Build a time machine.

No's 8/9/10/& 11, if only one slipped to Pick 12, would atmo, be so satisfying.

They can keep P 17.

I said it's a top 25 - I was wrong.

Should've had read it properly first.

His list is a very rough early mock draft.

Or the MFC do the deal; get Hale and then who they wanted at Pick 12 is still there at 17.

Check. Mate.

And pats on the back.

With Darling at mock pick 18, it is not wild to suggest the dees will deal pick 12 for 17 in the Hale deal. Pick 17 does come with a "buyer beware" stamp, because I doubt any of the really standout kids are going to slide to pick 17. Pick 12 is more likely to land you a slider than pick 17.

He's trying to style himself as the new Burgatron, but I'm not yet convinced.

No Dion Prestia or Jayden Pitt, this guy Paul needs to watch more football.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
