Not sure what game it is. Hoping it's the final from 2000. Looks roughly the right period.

Yep. 2000 Qualifying final. Great game, never seen it from go to whoa.

Shame I'm the only human awake at this hour.

was that with Brad Green's 4 goals?

That's the one.

Jeez. We really weren't that good that day.

Neitz completely smashed by Manton. Farmer didn't do much. A few passengers too.

I put the IQ on last night. Not great in the first half Dappa, weren't we 4 to 5 goals down?

Remember sitting up in the old Ponsford for this game and Blues supporters absolutely giving it to us early in the game. It was very sweet to turn it around on them.

Will never forget that last quarter! Nearly had my arm chopped off by my mates ceiling fan when the siren sounded!

Still one of the greatest games I've ever attended, which is odd when you consider the crap we served up for the first three quarters. I was in the Southern behind the goals and we were going absolutely mental, hugging strangers. As I recall I snapped my flag after jumping on it after Greeny's third. Great stuff.

Safe to say you weren't at the game?

It was a great game Schwarz absoloutely willed the team and the game forward when he went into the middle halfway through the 3rd term Completely broke the game open

Bruce and Green took the game on.Other bests were Ward Leonmcelli Riggers. White was well beaten Neitz was Nietz completely monstered all day for no free kicks and well beaten. It made me remember a great day

Thanks for the post Cheers

We won that game against carlton mainly because Aaron Hammill, knocked himself out diving into a pack just before 3/4 time. Before that he had been devastating. What a game it was. The MCC Reserve went right off.

Cam Bruce's finest moment no doubt.

Haha, very safe! Hot, steamy Queensland living room to be precise!

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
