Just been watching the Freo Lions and match and must admit Freo are up there with a chance/Also winning away from home now could put them as a big threat, even Kepler Bradley was playing a good game, that rarely happens

    The only problem with Freo is that their stars are all getting a little old. Right now they have a promising batch of young players supporting their big three in Sandilands, Pavlich and to a lesser extent Tarrant. These three are getting older though and will not be around long enough (probably) to play when the kids start peaking. They will still be a good side, but I don't know whether they will be a serious contender without the big three.

    I thought Fremantle showed as much in NAB Cup#1 to be totally honest. At a time when some here, quite amazingly and ever so premature, were calling for Bailey's head and were so worried about it's impact on our membership for 2010. Oh dear...... .

    Yep, the arrogant and ignorant comments like "and against a rabble like Freo!" that were made by many.

    If anyone cares to check you'll find I said Freo were a lot better than ppl were giving them credit for.
