and you could have done better?

Of course I could not do any better, I never proclaimed to be equal, lesser or better than this tool nor have I mentioned anything about having knowledge of the draftees, so you inane comment "and you could have done better?" has not substance in its entirety... You also need to take into consideration that I am an Accountant and not an AFL columnist. As HE is an AFL columnist you would expect a lot more from him. Otherwise you can just get a passionate AFL person to write up their "phantom drafts" & I am sure that they would reach the same if not better results that Burgan would! Obviously a simpleton like yourself is unable to ascertain any of this... Please make sure you pass this onto him next time you have his throbbing man mean deep in your gapping crevice.

Discount the top 10 and his success rate drops even more, which furthers my point more, that this idiot just rips [censored] out of his anus. :D

Accountancy must be and extremely boring or stressful job. I've met so many with a similar 'cut snake' kind of aggression. It was just a question man, switch to decaf.....

Why post? We don't need tools like you here.

go [censored] yourself.

Yes I have watched him play, live at Etihad and have also viewed his online clips.

If you read through my comments again I never said he wasn't a good player. The point I made is that it is wrong to place too much emphasis on a bloke's

physique at 17/18 years of age. I played footy for 15 years at a decent level and continue to be involved in the sport and know what I am talking about through experience.

Naive? Hardly my friend. We'll see who's right this evening. He won't be in the top 20.

What are you anyway, Tapscott's boyfriend?

That'd be one large serving of humble pie?? Cream with that??

Dropped on your head as a baby, were you?

I'd like to point out that Burgan had Sheppard going to WC at 7 in his phantom draft before most even thought it was a possibility.

You'd also be extremely stupid to ignore the fact that one unexpected pick causes a domino effect which is impossible to recover from.

I think you'd be suitably impressed if you saw his pre-draft wishlist for each club at each selection - he'd get quite a bit of that correct imho.

You certainly do have the personality for being locked in a room to count beans all day. Hardly fit to socialize with others.

nice one limp dick

thats all you could come up with?

Farout why are people's expectations of this guy so high?

No one knows how the draft order is going to play out, not even the recruiters.

another MISS by Burgan... such a FAIL.

congratulations

Ok. So from what I can see, Burgatron is crap...

So who is better? Even Quayle missed a few.

If you want the CORRECT order you could take your pick of a random poster on bigfooty, but that's akin to playing the lottery.

Burgan is as close as it comes to good information on the draft. Get your hand off it.

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
