Injury list - Round 20

Featured Replies

22 players now on the injury list. Pretty much anyone not injured will be playing this week... except maybe Robbo. ;)

MELBOURNE

Jared Rivers (groin) - test

Brock McLean (knee) – test

Jordie McKenize (calf) – test

Liam Jurrah (ankle) – test

Mark Jamar (quad) – test

Jack Watts (hand) – 1 week

Matthew Whelan (plantar fascia) – 1 week

Paul Wheatley (quad) – 1 week

Jack Grimes (hip) – 1-2 weeks

Jamie Bennell (knee) – 1-2 weeks

Rohan Bail (quad) – 3-4 weeks

Rhys Healey (quad) – indefinite

Matthew Warnock (ankle) – season

Cameron Bruce (wrist) – season

Austin Wonaeamirri (knee) – season

Brad Green (wrist) – season

Daniel Bell (shoulder) – season

John Meesen (foot) – season

Colin Garland (foot) – season

Sam Blease (leg) – season

James Struass (shoulder) – season

Addam Maric (shoulder) – season

Rubbish news about Bail, Grimes and Watts.

Jurrah, Jamar and McKenzie should all play if fit.

McLean and Rivers I wouldn't risk until next year... particularly if Rivers really does have issues with the groin again.

Agree. Their seasons should be over now, as far as i'm concerned.

Pity Wheels is still listed as 1 week. Would've liked to see him play this week an make a charge toward his 150th.

The colour red signifies players who won't be seen again this season:

looks like we can forget about seeing Watts again this season. Its been 1 week for 3 weeks

In another thread (the 'changes' thread i think) it was mentioned that Watts is available for selection this week?

Who knows these days, the injury list is so huge now, and all year the updating of the list has been flaky.

Even if he were available, IMO he should play out the year in the VFL and only come back into the side if he plays a blinder. He's missed a few weeks recently with a broken thumb, so although it would be nice to see him against the Dockers, i wont lose any sleep if we dont see him in red & blue again this year.

We've got plenty of time to enjoy his talents... the next 10+ years! :D

Golly......

yer.......

all these injuries tisk tisk..... thats what you get for holding up 15 other clubs all year

We'll be right! Word is Rivers, McLean, Jurrah, Grimes & Jamar will all play this week. Keep my fingers crossed for that one.
