i am getting nervous, richmond are lowsy.

they are awful.

to think that there are elements of their football dept (i.e. current coach and players who have their careers on the line) who want to win is scary because they are crap.

Today is the lowest I've ever felt as a demons supporter.

DB was on the radio b4 the game. Morton was sick during the week with flu like symptoms.

Rivers off injured now. Down to 18 fit players.

Thanks for that. Richmond Win :D

i feel putrid on the inside. i think a little part of me died just then, wanting richmond to kick a goal to win the game. but it was needed

How funny. We'll have forgotten about this in 3-4 years when we're on the way up, but how bad does it feel to be happy and sad at the same time.

Who would have thought that Jordan McMahon would kick truly!

Points to the Dees for pushing so hard with so few people left standing at the end

good result. grimes and petterd goals amazing. mcmahon marked it after the siren sounded but oh well what can you do.

Richmond are in trouble, we have a lot of players out 3 injuries and they beat us with a kick after the siren. I want this year over, I hate this feeling.

we were the better side and we lost, but make no mistake, today was a WIN for the MFC!!!

Thanks you DB for not being a conceited, arrogant [censored] and going for a useless win. Im so happy for the dees!

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?
