We are off the bottom

I'm tipping another predictable result - like every week this season.

The Dees and Tiges will be neck and neck for 2 quarters, our young kids show a bit but then the Tiges draw away to an 8 goal win - and the RFC army celebrate like they've just won a premiership but in reality are positioning themselves for another 9th place finish.

Meanwhile I'll log on to demonland Monday morning to enjoy more Sylvia, Bruce, McLean, Bate, Jetta bagging.

Mark these words, coz i don't think truer ones have been spoken before.

Do the Tig's have enough cash to pay Wallet out and bring another coach in during the season? Not sure they would.

Must attendance next week for more reasons than one. Just dont sit anywhere near the tigers race. Just in case!

Sit at the city end this week, or all you will hear is the grog squad singing "Tiger army". I wish we had a grog squad that just went mental I`d love to go to a dees match and see the dees supporters and the back chanting and singing going nuts singing "WHO WHO, WHO ARE WE, WE ARE THE BOYS FROM THE MFC, M E L B O U R N E, WHATA WE DO? GIVE ME HELL, MELBOURNE CLAP CLAP CLAP, MELBOURNE CLAP CLAP CLAP.

Man footy's a yawn <_<

Im predicting these two football clubs are on completely different pages of the "game" ... one side has an old dying list ... the other a young ready to be rejuvenated list.

Yeah you might be right about Sundays short-term result ... but in the long-term it will be forgotten.

In 2-3 years time with the introduction of the Gold Coast and West Sydney I know who I would rather support.

Go Dees ...

Yea, luckily the Grog squad sits behind the Richmond cheer squad.

I wonder what they'll be like when Melbourne win.

Yeah, they would go back to Punt road oval in silent. While we are going mental because we have just won a game.

We are the young ready to be rejuvenated list right, and you would rather support the dees in 2-3 years time with the introduction of the Gold Coast and West Sydney side right?

We'll get em back for when they beat us in 07. I remember after that game, so many tiger supporters were going mental.

I think we will be beaten handsomely. And the funny thing about that is, we would be doing Richmondson a massive favour if we beat them! Richmond is not up to it when immense pressure is put on their backs and mids. We do not put defensive pressure on in our forward half. So they won't make the same skill errors against us. I think N. Brown will have a day out.

Best of all, we are in a win-win. If we lose, Wallet keeps his job (funny!) and we move closer to our picks. If we win, we can collect Richmond memberships on our way out, laughing hysterically.

My mate who is a passionate Richmond supporter said they don`t want wallance coaching anymore and says he won`t be suprised if Richmond are lacking in intensity on Sunday, and if they are a bit slow.

Hopefully we can come out and kick the first 5 out of 6 goals like we did last year in Round 12, and then not let Richmond explode in the 2nd quarter again. The same thing kind of happened when we played em in Round 22.

Out of our 4 wins this year (hopefully!), I really want one of them to be this week - just to see how the RFC ferals react.

Wanting a win on the richter scale for our games so far:

North - 7/10

Collingwood - 8/10

Port Adel - 5/10

Are you saying the boys will be employing "The Temporary Tank". Say it ain't so (Richo).

It'll be so good if we can beat the Tigers for pace.

Yeah I think he was just so [censored] off that they lost, that he was talking rubbish.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
