Tadhg Kennelly to return to Ireland with a year left on his Swans contract

Featured Replies

The bloke has achieved all there is to achieve in Australia (except a Charlie).... He has won a premiership.... He has made great money....

He obviously realises that this year will be a bit of a "non-event" for Sydney and has decided to return home to play his national sport....

Bit strange that he would leave with a year remaining on his contract though

Been great value in his time with the Swans....

Good luck to him....

Just another reason why I think this year is going to be a hard slog for Sydney.

I certainly can't see a finals spot for them, and I seriosuly think its the bottom four for the ol Swans.

I have a soft spot for the Swannies, but I think they may be in the first stages of redeveloping their list.

Gippy

THey are vulnerable. It will only take a couple of key injuries (or maybe even for only Jarrad McVeigh to go down) & they'll be toast.

.....and their senior star players are getting older without ready replacements coming through.

longmire will coach swans in 2010, roos returning to melbourne, its time to go terry....

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
