Would you blokes do us all a favour and shirtfront that [censored] big danny g. Going by his name (and ergo the psychology associated with wanting to openly declare oneself as 'big') he'll probably be the fattest bloke on the ground, so he shouldn't be too hard to spot.

From the sound of some of the guys we've got lined up, this is going to be a massacre of biblical proportions. I might come down and have a shifty.

C'mon mate, it's just a social game. No need for talk like that, i'd never make violent threats toward anyone. I've already had Saintsational put a bounty on my head in past games. I've had the Hawkers baying for my blood. What's wrong with you guys? Can't handle a bit of taunting. I just wanna play footy.

And at least i'm realistic about what i can do. No-body will be able to knock me out. I'll just gently side step the oncoming fat c*nt. If he manages to provide some contact i'll ride the bump and spin out of it. That's called composure guys, take a page out of Danny-Gs book, and be calm about this whole situation. It's just forum footy. Relax, and don't make threats that are violent, let-alone stupid and will never eventuate.

Your threat is like a double whammy, kinda like Melbourne already being the most sterile club in the history of sport, and the hiring of Dean Bailey.

COME IN GUYS, WE'D LOVE TO HAVE YA!

All, with only a couple of weeks before kick off, we need committment, posts and complete dedication from each and every one of you. If you can play, confirm, if you are a maybe, keep this forum post as up to date as possible so we can get a true indication as to who is IN and who is OUT. We encourage all to bring other Melbourne supporters or even the occasional social football or recreational football players with them, or nominate them onto our playing list. All welcome. These are social games with a taste of fun footy flair. What we need now is committment from everyone. If you are unable to play, we encourage you to nominate and assist in other forms ie: drinkboys or drinkgirls, time keepers, goal and boundary umpires or even a photographer. What good is a day out if there aren't any photographs or very famous club song on video at the end of the day! These forum games make for a great day, and is our prime opportunity to put on the mighty RED and BLUE jumper and represent our great club.

All positions will be decided by the coaches, captain and/or the leadership group on the day.

Leadership Group, if I have left something out, please edit and post.

GO DEES.

I often find that items that become stickies have a lot less traffic and involvement from posters.

You can see from thread views per day for topics

Just my two cents.

As we have no VFL team, are we effectively the MFC seconds then?

Perhaps Carroll will come and have a run with us...

they will let us know in a day or so (possible sporting clash)...

robbo24 will be contacting woody and animal soon, but doubts they will want to come down to play without cribbes...

Re: Me being named `water duty`

I said i`d bring some and i will bring as much as i can but, i`ll be catching the bus so i`ll be a bit limited. Not to mention a few cans in the bag as well. Might be a good idea for a few people to bring some if possible.

Or maybe i`ll just get a cab !

"Scotty says he's in..."

Thanks, mitch, that makes a quality 24 by my count...

if cactus, freak and imtoohot come aboard, we will be able to easily cope with the usual late withdrawals and non-starters...

and still field a competitive outfit...

this is a first for us in november...

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE
