Trade Rumours

Featured Replies

I have to say, I'm glad to see Jamar is off the table. Mainly because, if we were going to trade him, we'd likely be looking at Seaby. Which would be horrible.

Crossing my fingers it is a sign that we land Warnock, certainly not getting my hopes up though.

I'd love it if White ended up at Carlton and we got Warnock thanks to Freo holding firm.

I thought Jamar's efforts were reasonable when he was the main ruckman in White's absence. He is certainly no star though.

If we are not trading for another ruckman he should be kept as we would only have fill ins like PJ and Martin, with Meeson and Spencer to come. Not a great group of ruckmen. Spencer may make it in time, but Meeson probably won't.

We will obviously look at another ruckman in the expanded Rookie draft.

Agree with that.

Geez I want Spencer to make the big time!!

just get rid of jamar...#38 will do better

Carlton have enquired about Brad Miller.

Carlton have enquired about Brad Miller.

Where did you hear that mate?

Where did you hear that mate?

would it make a difference?

.. would you beleive me anyway?

Carlton have enquired about Brad Miller.

 Carlton would have by now enquired about every and any player, including the weather report. Whatever it takes to get warnock over the line.

would it make a difference?

.. would you beleive me anyway?

reasonable question I would have thought.

Very possible.

I mean an enquiry would go something like this.

Carl: Is Green still on the table

Melb: Yep

Carl: First round pick?

Melb: Nah! See ya.

Every payer in teh leauge has proberbly been enquired about

............................... Geez I want Spencer to make the big time!!

Dont we all! ........... and if he shows promise, we'll need to lock him in well before a return 'home' to the Gold Coast starts to become overly attractive to him.

I didn't really know where else to put this but reading an article tonight I came across this quote that may be directly aimed at one of our own......

Melbourne was angry at rumours circulating yesterday that Aaron Davey was up for trade and Port Adelaide was a potential destination.

"It's absolutely 100 per cent bulldust," Connolly said.

I couldn't put this in the locked thread obviously but I mut admit I did find it more than a little amusing :P !!!

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
