Jeff White to play on!

Featured Replies

exactly. white is finished with us. we wont even get a 3rd rounder for him.

Blues might have some competition from the likes of Sydney (ie Everitt more than likely will be shown the door), which at best could push it up to a third round pick. Although there would be an arm wrestle and exchange of late picks to obtain a 3rd round pick IMO - just speculating.

It's all speculation anyway, wish we all had a crystal ball!

Ironic if he ended up at Sydney  !!!

Face some facts on White

The game has passed him by

Its his fault he hasnt adapted

Nobody will want him ahead of the talent in the upcoming draft

Same with Yze

Move on

Probably one of the rare things on this site that most agree to..that is.. Jeff has probably played out any real usefulness to the team. Has he any trade value.?? well its moot as he is , or will be out of contract there is no trading Jeff. Might he have some life beyond the MFC ? personally Id be very surprised if yes. That Rats has even opened his mouth at this juncture amazes me but on a relative 'cheapy' contract they may see something of a use for him that doesnt apply to us.

I suppose..ditto for Ooze..but I cant really see much opportunity for Adem at the top level..possibly a few years left at VFL if that interests him.

Jeff is only playing this week out of expedience..nothing more to read into it really

Seems there is no club interest for Whitey: -

http://www.afl.com.au/News/NEWSARTICLE/tab...px?newsId=68519

It's sad to see, he's been one of my favourites for a while and although this season has been very average i think he's been a hard working contributer for us.

I'd very much like to see him get a chance at another club but it seems unlikely at the moment.

It was sadder MFC did not make a more sensible assessment of both players years ago when they had some market value. Their last contracts have resembled retirement pension plans. We should seek to avoid this calamity in the future.

Robertson thread...

Maybe Wrecker? Bruce?
