$1.25

easy money, put your house on it

yes, he wil; win it.

But Morton and Cochin will be the best players of the draft.

I think when all is said and done, the 2007 draft will go down as the greatest of all time.

2008 by reports is one of the best assembled in terms of quality. Sadly we won't be around to know if its the greatest of all time, football will go on and on....

but the chances of the draft continuing as is for ever are pretty low, so theoretically it could be the best ever lol

Agree. It's kind of sad to know that Palmer isn't really going to amount to much as a player compared to these two, yet it is a dead set certainty that he'll get 45 out of a possible 45 votes.

Gary Ablett jr never even got a nomination.

Seriously who cares about these minor awards. Fans put so much emphasis on it along with MOTY, GOTY.

Cale will be a player even if he doesn't get a nomination.

Bradd Dalziel (Brisbane) 34.00

Someone has wasted their money has not even eligable.

I agree with CC that Col Garland should win the rising star. I know he won't, but he's had the hardest assignments out of any of those listed, and has not lowered his colours once.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

It's Game Day and Clarry's 200th game and for anyone who hates Carlton as much as I do this is our Grand Final. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
