Brad Green value on the market?

Featured Replies

We ae risking getting nothing for him. If he has decided to go we have to take whats on the table forget about what we think he is worth. Today the MFC has 6 hours to get a deal done or sign this bloke. I don't care if it is pick 29 get something this years dratf is deep you will get good players going into the mid 30's.

Green will go to Collingwood

Is that a statement that you know something for sure mate?

I believe he will also but i am getting nervous today as i cant imagine what we are going to get back from them or if nothing at all.

1 day to do a trade....Thanks Brad...

jeez i dunno mate, i really dont rate Cox at all.

I would like Rusling, yes i know he is injury prone but i would rather the possibility he comes right and the second rd pick than Cox and second rd pick

Any chance of us doing a deal with Hawthorn? Article says they're still interested (especially after O'Keefe deal stalled). I'd go for a deal for Thorpe in return for Green and a 3rd rounder. Combined with drafting Watts at 1 would consolidate our KPP stocks nicely.

Green for Taylor?

im getting a feeling Green will end up staying with us...

If he does there is one thing for sure- i dont want him captain as all this hoop la has done my head in...

Brock 4 captain in 09 and beyond

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
