Comrades.

I cried at the end of the 87 Prelim

I cried for joy at the end of the 88 Preliim.

For the third time in my life, tears came to my eyes when Wonna got the ball in the last ten seconds and started to run toward goal with an acre in front of him.

It was a religious experience. My eyes have seen the coming of the glory of the Lord !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Biffinator

I wanted him to just drill it from 60... Had he it might have dribbled through... Was a weird feeling...

But I tell you what I didn't know what to think when he kicked it out on the full a few minutes earlier...

Very exciting. I think he's our leading goalscorer for the year now. He needs to learn to stop avoiding/fearing body contact though.

Imagine if had kicked that snapshot?

What the hell would have happened?

Was just watching the news report and they showed Austin's dad hugging members of the crowd. You can see where Aussie gets his celebrations from.

i get really horny when wonna kicks a goal and does his famous celebrations.

What a moment! Just quitely, i too got a bit of a lump in my throat and a bit watery eyed....

Was a pity Brad Green's goal was just after the siren tho... would've been a magical play of the day and icing on the cake. And Green was clearly BOG imo so would have been a fitting and deserved finish.

Well, you are a demon. Last time I checked, Demons had horns

Wonna had a good game but not amazing, but it sure was great to see him run with that ball out of defence!! It is unbelievable that he was not picked up by anyone given how good he is!!!

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
