Definately will win the Bluey!!! Has taken his game to another level.... His on field efforts are definately worthy of the captainacy but we need a leader off the field as well.... For me Brad Miller is the man!! Anyway back to Greeny, I just cannot believe how courageous he is now, i never thought he had that in his game. This year Green has done it all, it just shows how different performances can be when players are injury free. Last year everyone was bemoaning his skills, but this year he is in career best form!

Yeah it difficult to single out any player today after most players really had a great game, but the difference between Buckley round 1 and 14 is incredible!!!! Twice he tackled from behind and earnt the free kick.... We all know he can run and carry but the coaching stuff and Bucks have to be congratulated for developing a defensive side to his game!!!

Wonna had a good game but not amazing, but it sure was great to see him run with that ball out of defence!! It is unbelievable that he was not picked up by anyone given how good he is!!!

I have always been a Miller fan and today, as has already been mentioned, he led from the front and had a terrific game!!! The forward line just looks so dangerous with Miller, Sylvia and Wonna all working hard to win the ball and kick goals!!! Brad Green has been outstanding this year, i never thought he was that tough but there is no question that he is courageous and puts his body on the line for the team now!!!!

The development in the players over the course of the season is amazing!! Quite hard to believe it is the same team that got thrashed in the first two games by Hawthorn and Western Bulldogs...... Bailey and the assistant coaches must be doing something right.... When I watching the press conference, it just made me wonder how good it is to have bails at the helm. He did not exclude too much emotion, but you could tell he was pleased with their performances BUT IT IS ONLY THE START!! Bailey knows this and knows it is a long hard road!!!! I believe in him and the players!!!

Dunn was outstanding! Completely shut out Brisbane's most influential onballer.... Even when Black had space, he thought Dunn was close and completely stuffed the kick... I love the improvement with this bloke! At the moment, it is more important for Dunn to shut down a player and then lets worry bout the stats! We are in desparate need of a stopper, we have not a decent one for years!

absolute garbage..... How can he make such a comment, when Carlton lost something like 80% of their games over a 3-4 year period!!! He has no clue!!! This season is only 6 weeks old, how about making such a sensational call at the end of the season???

absolutely sensational game.... it is amazing what happens when we use the ball well going inside 50.... Actually give the forwards a chance to mark the ball and we finally kicked straight!!! 9 straight in a row in the last quarter..... Great effort boys!!

The problem with a lot of melbourne players, aka Bate and Juice, is that dont work hard enough and believe that natural talent is enough to earn selection... I think Bailey's philiosophy is to play people who put in 110% rather than people who dont put in second efforts! Miller is a must have at the moment, who works hard and runs all day... Those who think Miller should not be in the team are hot heads who need to trust the judgment of the coaching staff ahead of their own misconceptions...

Anyone who says ruckman do not win games should look at the game from last night... Sandilands was BOG by a country mile! We need a dominant presence on the ground and NATA will be that!!

As much as I like to be positive (check my other posts) but Judd was awesome today... so clean with the ball and many, many clearances.... Brock was good, but Judd is another class..... Judd is a lot more damaging 26 posessions (most of them effective) and 3 goals

U obviously didnt go last week then.... 1/3 of our possessions last week were ineffective, today when we had some structure we were much better.... being negative only goes so far, a team without confidence does not need a kick in the guts from its supporters... Apart from the second half of the second quarter when Carlton kicked 7 unanswered goals, the game was even and we probably had better chances... We just need to weed that undisciplined play out the game but get those pansy umpires to actually let the play go!

We are not that far off, all its takes is 10% better n we would be ok.... I thought our forward line was good when it wasnt flooding and I just think that Davey is much better as a forward than a midfielder... Did anyone see the roos last night? Small forwards can win games, u dont need big forwards to dominate... Neitz is almost finished but Robbo, who finally started to keep his feet, actually tried some second efforts today....

We were much better today... our younger players finally showed something. Best game I have seen from Sylvia, Frawley and maybe even Bell.. We just looked more comfortable with the ball and if it were not for some dubious free kick goals and some brillance from Fev and Judd, we could have won. We probably had more players who won their positions except there 2 stars dominated!! Also much better with a smaller forward line, we actually had some pressure and crumbers... Did anyone think that Frawley actually looked better on Fev than Carrol? Looks more like a footballer rather than some future festival raver... Sylvia, a permanent back please!

The most impressive thing about Cale's game is his ability to look like he has all the time in the world... some players just have it and very best build their career on it (ie Harvey).... That said it still early days and I have felt these things before about Brock, bruce, green etc.... Hopefully he gets good advice/training and can take his footy one step further! We have been crying out for a superstar for a while now!!!

I totally agree. The problem is not that Carrol is necessarily a bad defender, it is just he is undersized.... A larger key back would allow Carrol to play on a smaller forward... He has quite good speed and does use the ball pretty well.... Hopefully Martin will be our man!

Why does Miller's name keep coming up.... Until someone establishes themselves as a better option, there is no point bringing in someone who is not ready... Has bring Garland into the team been a success, they need to prove themselves in the seconds to deserve their chance.. People should not undervalue his leadership! Did Whelan play on the weekend in the twos? If not, then we cannot risk bringing someone in without match fitness. In Bate Out Garland We might just have a winning side soon! Go MFC

Miller is definately an important player for the future! we lack agression and leadership on the field and he provides that... Not to mention his kicking has improved a lot! I feel a win is around the corner Go MFC!
