  1. What a relief for the cows. They won't have to listen to Jizza's bull shite.

They had mechanical milkers for about 40 years.

They cost{the new ones}about 5,000.each .So i think i might have a job for awhile.

Although on those hoity abc shows for city dwellers they do give them hopes of one day becomming relevant.

  2. Now Now Jizz!!! Don't be making such wild statements. You are clutching at straws - those in your hair perhaps, or your apparel , or even those stuck to your shite covered gumboots. Biff spend's Sunday nights doing what you can only dream of doing.

No wild statements here girlboy, just the facts.

  3. Yeah Im optimistic, I think apart from whatever happened against GWS, weve done OK. The Ruck dept worries me the most. If we can get a few more forwards to fire a la round 1 then we will start to rise. WE are 1 game out of the eight, but some tough matches coming up. Hey we even went up a spot on the ladder this week....This side is way better than what weve had.

    Yeah,good post fella.

I also think the forward line has looked better this year and shows signs of kicking a score.

  4. My dream lineup would be Anthony Hudson and Gerard Whateley calling the play-by-play with Jason Dunstall and Scott Lucas doing the special comments.

The rest are fairly uninspiring or dreadful (Dwayne Russell).

Josh Frazer from QLD just won pillock of the north.

  5. I find it difficult to watch footy on TV now because the commentary is so bad. It makes me angry

Radio is still ok as long as i avoid Andy Maher

I must be getting old. But TV Commentary is junk...

    Yes, you are getting old.

But still right, the TV is junk.

  6. Still kicking I see Jizz. How did the footy opening go? I suppose you have been over run with invites since then - cow shite on the cuffs and all.

They won the first game{when i was on board}and have lost there last 2.

Just a normal year for us.

Yep still kicking and still off durries. But the desperately need to empty the bags or take some pressure of the left side of brain.

Humour just wont cut the mustard.

  7. Lions CEO Greg Swann confident Aish will be gone at years end.

Haven't seen much of him at all, heard the name that's about it. Worth a shot?

    Apologies if already discussed.

Will be in adelaide. Was meant to be there from day dot.

    We want Danger,Shiel or treloar.

  8. Until we have more mids who can get their hands on the ball 20+ times consistently Cross will continue to be a mainstay in the side. His mature body will be important with Freo, Sydney, Hawthiorn coming up.

Got him for nothing last year and he showed the way with his remarkable gut running and courage.

Expected nothing but hard desperate trying until his body runs out of petrol.

Carried out his instructions since hes got to club.

Thanks before the nail you to the wall Crossy.

  9. Michie would surely be next in line for us.

Viv,showed a distinct lack of chase and get back deep to help in his first outing with us.

There was a deep conversation about his lack of "team orientation",and he also got injured in the same match.

Hoping the last 12 months, some nice coaching and time in ressies has changed his attitude.

  10. Vinces demolition of Dangerfield was the highlight of my day. Also thrilled with the response of Walsh - it's a long time since we needled the opposition like that.

    More please.

Demons should reply to Walsh's press conference. Vince played hard footy. Dangerfield played for frees and didn't like the hard tag.

Dont let this one go ...

Dead right, everytime ive mentioned this type of footy on here, ive copped the "dirty country hick rules are no good here"from the dee faithful on this site.

But there is still room for tough hard footy,The major problem is after 3/4 time when the money was on the table, the same plebs came up short and didnt fire a shot as usual.

And the same plebs on here will still give JW time because he shows potential to offload the pill properly.

Well im afraid most afl players in space can generally offlaod the pill, but what counts is gettin it,usin it and puttn ya body on the line.3 things that must give the squad the absolute chits about JW.

Hard footy wins games.Ugly footy wins premierships.

  11. Please tell me why he is always out numbered and if he is why do we kick it to him if he is? It is cringeworthy to watch.

    Big units always attract a crowd,{think john holmes}

Anyway, why kicking to him is a bonus with the crowd attached,it brings space and allows {theory}players to run onto and collect the footy in that space.

Unfortunately for us we only have one of those players atm and hes still getting used to our game.

    Patience once again grasshopper.

  12. 16 odd points up 2 minutes from quarter time, Jack Watts drops two absolute ponies, and bang bang, we go into quarter time with a slender 2 or 3 point lead. Sometimes he makes it really hard for us.

Jack Watts - better than that

    NO HE'S NOT

Said this a million times before.

When its your turn to "go" you Flippin well GO.

And jackie boy mmmmmmmmmmmm dont go.

  13. Too often there is no one crumbing near him when he contests. Usually out on the flank one on one and the next nearest player is invariably from the other side

    Were still learning basics.

This is another couple of standards higher than basic.

Although No3 looks to be getting better.

  14. Jesse's is mechanics. Jeffy's is mental. It's nice to talk about improving goal kicking now that we have people down there that create opportunities. Dawes is never going to be a good mark but he rarely loses an aerial contest, most of them when he is outnumbered. I think people under rate this facet of his game.

    Agree on the Dawes issue.

His job is to attract a crowd and bring it to ground. Also to take the 2nd backman.

does this consistantly and earns his bit.

  15. Cross is still getting isolated by opposition sides when they come out of defence. He needs the support of players to do the "quick switch" when to make sure we have someone else to run with his opponent.

    Wrote about this pre-season.

    Will be something PR is still teaching,were simply not good enough on the switch{but improved}
