The List Manager
How Tim Lamb is still holding the position of List Manager is completely baffling. Regardless of coaching structures and leadership, this man has recruited the following players: Schache Dunstan Billings Fullarton McAdam Hunter Grundy (which was never going to work) It has been a complete and utter disaster since 2021. And yet again, like any mediocrity, the football club have simply allowed people to perform this way and not be held to account.

Agree with all the trades - would add Sparrow to that mix.

Stats File - 2025 edition
These (^^ above post) are different to AFL Ratings, which considers a player's history and their position. This show you how far off the cliff we've fallen. 5 players inside the top 100 in the comp. Based on this, you'd think that anyone from Rivers down is trade worthy (outside of young players like Bowey, Windsor, Langford and Lindsay).

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
The tricky part about Petracca and Oliver trades is that they are both on enormous money and long term deals. So to get anything decent in return, clubs won't want to give up much (ala Geelong/Oliver last year). It's either a salary dump and get nothing/next to nothing back, or get a decent pick but player's contract is ripped up. Players also have to be happy to start a new contract for less elsewhere (which they won't). So we are very possibly stuck with them. Salem is a trade. If you ever needed proof, the 9 min 50 sec mark when he pretends to spoil the ball with his left hand. It is funny but telling. No ticker and his time here is up. A talented junior and helpful during our flag tilt but he is not up to it.

Trade Targets
Absolutely. And Derksen is that

Trade Targets
Until Tim Lamb is gone, the club is not going to improve. Tim Lamb has no credits in the bank for any recruiting since 2021. It has been appalling.

Brad Greens letter to members
So here we are again. Another letter from our President that says absolutely sweet FA. In fact, it's about as embarassing as the final qtr on Sunday. We are putting ourselves years and years into the abyss of irrelevance yet again. All the work done prior to 2021 is unravelling at a rate of knots. Interim or not, decisions have to be made and this rhetoric about Goodwin not being the problem is complete and utter nonsense. Fish rots at the head, and the club is devoid of any leadership. Again, as I said earlier in the year: we do not hold people to account for their performance, coaching, recruitment or players. It is a complete farce and a very sad state of affairs.

Time to go Goody?
I think you and I have shared these views. It's refreshing to hear someone else voice them. There is no accountability. None. Zilch. Zero. I cannot think of another successful or 'ruthless' club that would have accepted 2 straight sets exits after that flag with the list, to then hit the lows of 2024...and yet, in 2025 with 4 games left - he is STILL here.

Judd McVee Contract
Yes - if you look at the post I made last year which started this thread, I mentioned Woewodin - seems even more likely from the source I have he will be back in WA. His management expressed disappointment at how often he was played as sub last year which stunted his development. Outside of NM this year, don't think he's played any other games.

Judd McVee Contract
Like everyone, I'm a Melbourne diehard - I don't want players of his potential leaving. Simply passing on the intel I have from very reliable sources. Again, like most, I want the most up-to-date info. I've since gone back to the same person in WA and they have re-stated exactly what was said in December.

Judd McVee Contract
I'll just leave this here - writing was on the wall last year when I got this mail. Make of this what you will. The fact that with little time left in the year he has decided to put talks on hold seems to me like there is a distinct possibility he is gone.

Time to go Goody?
Yes - but good clubs are strong. Make a mistake once - fine. Do it again? We are now going backwards at a rate of knots and with Tasmania coming in soon we are in serious jeopardy of not playing finals for a long time. And again, we are setting up the young players to fail because we have no quality between the age of 23-28.

Time to go Goody?
The reality is, it is completely irrelevant who we play in the run home. He should be judged on our season. Having finished bottom 6 last year, another bottom 6 finish SHOULD see him out the door. So whether we win 5,6,7,8 or 9 games, we will be bottom 6. I am sick of the club accepting mediocrity - they could've sacked him after 2 straights exits, but they didn't. They could've sacked him last year, but told us there was a wide scale review, off field change etc etc...and with 8 weeks to go, we are on 5 wins.

Time to go Goody?
Moving Turner to fwd line was ridiculous. How the f did they sub Johnson out? Have they not heard the saying "the big men don't get any smaller..."?!?! Not only that, Petty went back? FFS Turner has been our best defender in the last 4 weeks...

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
I would trade Clarry for LJ - both on big money, win win for both clubs as Freo crave a big bodied midfielder. Also means we don't lost Koz, who I'd argue is far more valuable to us than what Clarry is.

Letter from Brad Green
The reference to a solid 3rd quarter against a mediocre club like Essendon says it all. What a joke. Brad Green is just as much of the problem - don't let anyone tell you otherwise. CEO or not, this club has needed to remove Goodwin since two straight sets finals exits. We continually do not hold people to account for performance. The same players keep getting games, the same staff keep doing their job poorly. Tim Lamb's record of recruiting players from other clubs outside of May, Lever and Langdon is god awful in the 10 + years he's been at the helm. The sooner someone with any balls on the board can move Goodwin, Richardson and Lamb on, the better.

Time to go Goody?
Just stating the facts. Bickley did not say anywhere anything about Goodwin feeling the pinch or that the situation was dire. Quite the contrary
-
Time to go Goody?
This is all rubbish. The interview was actually Bickley saying he ran into Goody and that Goody was very confident about things going into the Dons game.

Time to go Goody?
I'd say it is. Johnson 2nd ruck, physical presence and 4 tackles vs Fritsch - dropped marks, missed shots, half arsed tackles. He offers nothing. For someone as 'experienced' as he is, it's an indictment on our selection and effort. Now, we have to put JVR in ruck to relieve Gawn (not ideal - he's been pathetic as well this year) Body of week this season - I know who I'd rather
-
Time to go Goody?
Playing Bailey Fritsch for 2 weeks in a row now is enough to show me that Goodwin has zero idea when it comes to accountability or credibility. He's omitted Johnson, who has been the only forward playing with intent. JVR couldn't catch a cold at the moment and is extremely lucky to hold his spot. Billings omitted is spot on - but he shouldn't be playing in the first place

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
I've had a lot to do with him - yes
-
Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
Yep - that's what I thought. But when you think about it, probably easier to break into Eagles line-up/security going forward? He is a country boy so a move won't affect him, but certainly his life is here atm... Got my fingers and toes crossed!
