  1. Often wondered " Guessing the contract will not allow it" why Channel seven do not use 7mate as a 24 hour Footy station. back to back replays with front bar or other footy shows to fill it out. Maybe Pawn Stars and American Picker just rate to highly.
  2. My Understanding is we have a small window "9am to 11Am" to claim our Grand Final Guarantee ticket, should we miss that window we go into the second window and take our chance.
  3. Just jumped on Ticketek to see how the game is selling and The Swans now have a ballot up. Find it strange that Priority One have to go in a ballot, I took it that Grand Final Guarantee meant just that. Will we need to Register should we win this weekend. PS The Swans might not have a Grand Final Guarantee connected to Priority One Member. The cats had to do this yesterday. Sydney Swans Members Grand Final Ballot Registration Priority One, 8am - 11am: Premiership Club, SCG Premium, Life Members, VIPs Priority Two, 12pm - 4pm: 11 game NSW memberships, VIC memberships Priority Three, 5pm - 9pm: Red 5, Red 3, Interstate Memberships Supporter membership, Mini Memberships, AFL Silver and Bronze Club Support member To give yourself the best opportunity to be successful in the ballot, we strongly recommend that you DO NOT select the following option when registering: *Accept best avail reserved seat - No Standing By selecting this option you will choose not to accept a standing room ticket - should all reserved seat tickets have been allocated when your registration is next to be processed, you will not be issued with a Grand Final ticket.
  4. Today is RUOK day but tomorrow is RUCK day. Gawn to cut loose.
  5. Nice that were getting 39000 to our games but how many of them are Melbourne members.
  6. Found this tweet the other day. Don't know if it's true but might be the reason we haven't seen him. On the other side I think Gawn and Olive had the same early issues. We went to one of the sporting globe nights with May & Lever. They got asked about JVR and they mentioned his fitness and him eating take away for breakfast etc and having to understand nutrition etc to work on his fitness. Could be part of reason he hasn’t featured this year
  7. Be nice to know the crowd size Vs number of tickets sold but I guess AFL and MCC members would change this number.
  8. It's like ours, it is included in some memberships. But starts at $945 or so one of their supporters told me. Guess we will go the same way now that we are winning games and making finals.
  9. I'm told that The Pies Grand final guarantee "ticket" costs over $900 a year. Plus you had to register your intention of wanting one by 7th Sept or will have waived your right to a ticket. Don't think we have any such rule.
  10. Nice having 100,000 plus members imagine a Pies Vs Tigers final with 200,000 plus members trying to get tickets. Wonder if they would be allowed ten each.
  11. 12. Tickets for @CollingwoodFC v @freodockers this Saturday at the MCG are currently sold out. No word on how our game is selling.
  13. Interesting to see how this fits in with government anti siphoning laws, More so for the tier B events.
  14. Any feedback on how many tickets were sold for either game for this weekend.
  15. 2nd quarter he received a free for a high tackle. Not sure who it was but was an accident
  16. Melb Vs Sydney $3.75 Melb Vs Pies $15.00 Melb Vs Freo $21.00
  17. I will tell the world that was all I wanted to see and then start planing for the Three-peat. Because thats what I want.
  18. I will keep that in mine if we get to play Sydney or the Pies in the big dance.
  19. The Demons, having finished second on the ladder, suddenly find themselves facing elimination. I'm reading and hearing this everywhere today. All six teams are now facing elimination in their next game. Anyway some more about our injured players in this story. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/teammates-declare-injured-petracca-ready-to-go-against-lions-20220905-p5bfd5.html?fbclid=IwAR06f8_T1nktvWXUquMQsC-nBzZIyjlMKlIG5iaZiPyjT7CeURBAJH86HFQ
  20. Angus on radio this morning said Spargo is good to good Oliver is fine. Trac would need his leg to fall off before he would miss. Link -- https://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/1215187/on-the-radio-angus-brayshaw-sen?videoId=1215187&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1662333924001
  21. Got a ticket. We will be fine now.
  22. That and the selling One bay at a time.
  23. Ok I'm going. That system is ridiculous. No tickets available then they open the next bay and you can sit anywhere you like.
  24. I have been to a lot of Melbourne Final over my lifetime. I have never been to one where they have lost. The fact that I could not get a ticket last week and can not get on this week has me worried.
  25. Stuff it, have to go to work. Try in the lunch break and see what's leave.
