  1. Worth a punt as a Cat B for SURE!!! Massive X-Factor and if he could be anything either side of ledger but saw him at Casey LY & recall my notes “wish this kid was on senior list, AFL lvl traits” so I’m glad, it’s a free but being Cat B so smart by list team and gives Kos another close acquaintance to feel even more comfortable as well.
  2. Brilliant news Dazzle!!! Was researching feverishly last night to figure out if he qualified — So I’m stoked to learn he does 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  3. yep fair. I see him being in the Gulden mould, with a better turn of speed — mid these days doesn’t mean contest beast but I think he’s more than a pure wing and that we’ll see him running mid patterns
  4. Said he’d break records - love this kid we need to sue his unique speed and endurance combo and if we do he’ll be a real weapon!
  5. Sure is — his marking may be his best asset although his finishing and attack at contest would be close!
  6. Ah fair enough lol Let’s hope — I think that’d be a huge tick if so. Otherwise his size finishing and marking make him the perfect fwd for us either when resting to maybe he’ll do stoppage then move fwd.. either way he’s def in R1, would love to see Windsor inside a bit as well in bursts!
  7. Indeed.. but also at times unsuited whereas facepalm is apt in a multitude of posts
  8. I’d be shocked if he didn’t.. kids a stud and pave aside there’s few knocks at all
  9. He’s not actually considering future mate
  10. INDEED! I think it is clear Langford plays straight away, glad Petty is going back. Smith plays for mine. But your point is well made, it is definitely taking shape w/many of our top picks looking the goods at the moment. Who's Francis? Auto correct for Lindsay? haha love that kid and am SO glad we got him, total steal for mine. Uses ball well and makes EXCELLENT decisions, can play HB/HF easily. Bowser #21 also would be great on a wing if he gets the tank..
  11. YES Gameplan adapting or not, its a major role and one that I think Sharp will likely play. Bowser moving to a Wing potentially also helps support as he's a great user, but Sharp also backs his footskills and Langford will also play a lot up fwd, some other players also ie Kolt are in mix, his running ahs already been a feature this pre-season..
  12. What an absolute CRACKING outcome! Barring a left field result I think this is absolutely too-shelf best result we could ask the left-footers that OOZE class , loose and domination! Cloud #9 RN was so so glad we took Lindsay — right call & more I watch him the more he looks like a Butters/Gulden/Windsor hybrid.. Could be a momentous night in our clubs history — but even if it’s. It, it’s exciting times when you consider young talent now at our disposal!
  13. I have a late feeling Draper might be on the cards — By context if Adel take Langford.. I know consensus is Tauru, but I don’t entirely buy it so think that this is worth noting.. If we walk away with Langford/Lindsey I think it’s a good night — despite concerns on Langford’s speed in coming round on him.
  14. I know but I also mean he literally plays as a third talk option rather than small — high hands and a leap to boot! Only ‘tall’ on current radar for 5/9 appears to be Tauru and Travaglia whom aren’t exactly KPP
  15. Noooo? Don’t say 😂 Yeah but I quote through Siri and can’t be bothered correcting her when she’s so polite! Nope that’s form someone at the club albeit in a non coaching role but still I’m not gonna hand it to you rapt now am I.. 😜 [censored], I just used the wrong rapt/wrapped again there didn’t I.. silly moi
  16. Good thing is Langford is a mid who’s prob 192cm now and marks well overhead so he’s a tall by definition at least.. I still think it’ll be Langford unless Smith somehow falls thru but other pick is between 4-5 at least
  17. Drill of a kick — sure hands and poise
  18. I think that was more of a rev-up than a criticism — but being a more lead-up chest mark target means he can be the missing link in transition from 60-90m out Ala Melksham/Brown but better and bigger/faster
  19. Interesting.. explain? for me it’s the go-home factor and if so 💯 spot-on he has that written all over him based on his interviews etc
  20. But NOT ahead of Langford just for record & agree on Allan his kicking is concern whilst not awful we want good kicks and hence why Smilie (if there) wld be my pref for sure and again his ceiling is immense! Late mail has Tigers taking Allan at #7 so let’s hope that occurs and means we can get either Travaglia/Smilie/Tauru.. A Langford/Smilie combo wld be HELLA exciting — mid/fed combos with foot skills and hands both 191cm+ good lawwwddd
  21. Don’t think we would but he’ll be gone most likely but if he slips through I’d think we take him ahead of Viking for sure
  22. My Final take — If Travaglia is there at 9 he’ll be taken over Allan in my very humble opinion, if Tauru is there (won’t be) he’s the usurper. Langford/Smith available at 5 that’s who we take, w/Smith slightly ahead and def one we’d take first. Both gone (unlikely I rkn) then Tauru. So RN, best guess I’d say: (% likelihood) #5: Langford 50%//Smith 35%//Tuaru 15% #9: Travaglia 30%//Allan 25%//Reid 15%//Tauru 10%//Lindsay 10%//Other 10% Whatever occurs — it’s a big day for the MFC 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
  23. Mainly work ethic and judgement of character tbh mate — love of the game obviously. I know when hiring they ask loads of questions about what makes a good footballer and since Everyman and dog wants into recruitment it’s like coaching only the very very best and most committed get in. You have to be in footy circles is the key I’d say but you can’t be a [censored] it’s about being open, letting go of preconceptions, letting the data talk, reading the data, seeing the little things like footwork, technique and slotting when a player has a irredeemable flaw or a magical hidden trait helps too I imagine! But those that STAY employed in recruitment HAVE to be good — think about how many ppl wanna get into that field?
