Delistings/trades at end of the season
Hogans is contracted until 2017, he turns 22 that year. By the end of next year all going well with regards to injury we need to offering him a long term deal. Pav is just about cooked. More than happy for everyone else to receive 3 year deals. By then we should be a club that stands for something and retains its players.

Wouldnt be against a long term deal to Hogan. Sooner rather than later. For a marquee player it's justified. 2016 marks the end of the dead wood contracts.

Luke Parker can take over Dawes contract.

Just keep picking up/developing mids. Stevie J, Chappy, Bartell, Enright, Corey, Kelly we're all drafted as mids who also played either on a fwd or back flank.

Quality creative back men....Salem being one?? Is it something we should be trading for? Who were you thinking? Would we be better off just developing a mid into our other back flanker? Look at the likes of Hodge/Mitchell/Burgoyne, it's all about versatility, those three can play mid or back flank depending on the game/match ups.Jetta Frost Dunn Salem Tmac "quality creative back"

Beats....I like your thinking. One thing I would add with regards to Grimes and Dawes as they are contracted until the end of next season is how much is left on their contracts. Grimes is in and out of the side and if Frost were up and about id like to think he was playing before Dawes. A couple of players are taking home ridiculous amounts of money and that should/will be considered when making these decisions.

The Hawks would be in the mix, Mitch Clark was going home too. Hawks will land either Danger or Treloar.

Aish for Dawes, they need a forward target. Dawes is a target, not a very good one but they may struggle to get anyone else. Prestia for pick and Grimes.

Money of trade value?

What about players not getting a game with the Giants, their NEAFL is dominating all be it a weaker league. Must be someone worth a look.

For those that don't rate Aish have you considered the following - under developed - poorly coached - in and out of the side - injuries - weight of expectation considering his family's history - debut too early Or do those only apply to our players?

Every player should be targeting their opponent every game and should expect to be targeted themselves. If he's carrying an injury he shouldn't be playing like Tyson.

Here's a stat - ability to stand up and perform consistently under pressure. Could be measured in %. Sick of hearing a certain player is an "outside" player, is that meant to justify poor performances? Because plenty of other teams have outside players that play pretty consistent football. And to those who then hide behind "the coach praised this aspect of his game", is the coach going to hang him out to dry with media when he's obviously already mentally weak and potentially on the trade table at years end? This is not just about Watts it's about 1/3- 1/2 half the bloody list. We should simplify things and use the stat "not upto AFL standard and never will be" or "plays on his terms". I think we will win today and if we do I don't suddenly think everyone is untouchable because I've seen how these same players have performed against the Hawks/Swans/Freo. I just don't rate Collingwood that highly this year. Then we've got the chorus of "well if they're not motivated after listening to Neale they never will be" or the "this is our grand final" again both crap. How about they're highly paid sportsman, is that not motivation enough. Don't worry though because half the team will let us know when they're ready to have a crack.

Remove the word "possible" with regards to those trades. They need to get done, well at least Howe/Dawes/Grimes to free up cash to put us in a better position.

With regards to Michie/Newton/Riley and the like. I think it's only fair that for the remainder of the season they are given a block of games to show their wares similar to Spencer/Gawn rather then in - out - in - out. Other players have been given years all be it under different coaches.

I know respect is a two way street but the old "clubman" line is wearing thin.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
All comes down to what he's on, if he's on 350-400 ( purely a guess as he was captain and "had potential", because I'm stuffed if I know how we even spend 92.5% of the cap) we need to offload him. Can't have a depth player chewing up that much coin.
