On RSN the other day Mark Stevens put up a Top 5 Influential Women in the AFL. He had a couple of Demons in there, Daisy at 5 and Kate Roffey at 3. Caroline Wilson was number 1.

Couldn't get through to MFC for some more details about this game. Found the Casey club contact and was told the match is against Coburg tonight. They couldn't tell me if Fritta was playing though 🙂

The only time the AFL will listen to the fans is when fans actually stop going to the footy because of all this stuff. We can complain all we want about music, umps, MRO but it's fruitless. Whilst people flock to games and produce cash this isn't stopping anytime soon. You want to be heard, don't go or don't pay up...hit them where it hurts. We know people won't stop going though.

I thought Harmes had a good game, he seems to be judged harshly these days imo. He attended 20 centre bounces, equal most with Oliver and when you're in there as often as that you're bound to shank a few kicks with the pressure. He linked up well, had over 20 disposals with 6 score involvements, 2 goal assists and 6 inside 50s. He's no Trac or Oliver but plays a role and that role against Richmond was performed admirably in the absence of Viney. He certainly did his chances no harm for a R1 spot.

Move it to Casey.

Not worried whatsoever, he’s fine and got better as the game went on. He ended up with 20 odd possessions.

In at least one centre bounce we saw Grundy, Rivers, Pickett and ANB from memory. Do you guys think we will mix it up like that on the rare occasion during the season proper? I also thought ANB had a solid game, he mostly gets talked about when people think he’s had a bad game.

Sheesh, only 26? Felt like he was around for decades, good on him though. Triple premiership player in 100 odd games.

Yeah it’s real, was introduced a while ago now and a joke it was approved. It’s a variation of the game called ‘Blackjack Plus’ mainly found on the lower limit tables. The silly part is people actually played this variation. When I last visited, standard Blackjack was still around but on $50 -$100 minimum tables. The below is from a google search this morning. Nah no chance, they lost me when they introduced 22 in the dealers’s hand as a stand-off in blackjack.
