  1. It’s Spargo’s 3rd game today. We’d be happy with four from him but he should be aiming at 8 goals ?. Good luck with the multi, nice one. Is the Cats v Pies game at Geelong?
  2. Pressure is on fellas. I had a few earmarked depending on all three winning selections. For second and third: 2 Impending 13 English Good luck all, especially if you have a dabble on the Zephyr. Haven’t received any word as yet but i do find it interesting the TAB info Centre has the horse on top of the list in regards to Best Form. I can’t work that out to be honest.
  3. Don’t forget ANB rounding up the pegs ?
  4. No longer Wadda, a third gamer kicked 7. Never heard of Ronke before tonight. Anyway.....let’s snag a racing multi and trifecta tomorrow.
  5. Did Sicily let him know as well by waving him bye bye?
  6. Mentioning the wide barrier in regards to Houtzen in your post Macca reminded me of a fellow punter up north stating to me wide barriers in short trips at Doomben don’t have much success. Went on a little search and found the following article which I found interesting. https://www.racenet.com.au/news/the-stats-that-matter---doomben-barriers-20180202 I also discovered the Doomben 10,000 was the richest sprint race in Australia when the name was changed from the Doomben Newmarket in 1947. The purse was 10,000 pounds hence the name change.
  7. Cheers for the bets above Macca. Nice work on the Scone Cup, not a bad dividend at all for the F4. Lets hope we have two wins in Brisbane tomorrow. Also, the Zephyr is running at Caulfield tomorrow. Long odds and a bad barrier again, I’d say they might scratch the horse with this rain. Leicester is a big player according to a couple of co-workers that part own horses trained by Mr D Weir.
  8. Welcome back Wadda. Mate, if they want a few extras for Michelle Payne’s movie make sure you put a good word in for us. It’s pretty wet here also. Predicting Swans to win 48-42 tonight.
  9. Best Bet: Doomben R9 No.2 Higher Ground Tab Odds $3.10 Terrific win last start nosing out its stablemate in G3 level. Usually likes to settle midfield and shouldn’t have any trouble finding a good spot from barrier 6. Up half a kilo in weight but it looks like it’s a classy colt out of So You Think.
  10. “? 52. J. O’Rourke, 40. H. Jones, 37. J. Ross” I wouldn’t think anyone is smiling from the Box Hill centre line.
  11. I believe I heard on SEN last night Joel will speak to the media today. Have you heard similar?
  12. Hi Macca. I am leaning towards the Doomben 10,000. Not fussed either, happy with majority. If we can get the right combo and the two favourites miss out on the win the tri could show a healthy divvy. I don’t mind the Derby either, although I do feel it’s slightly difficult to gauge 3yr olds in a long distance race unless we are talking an out and out star. Even then you might come across a less fancied runner that just loves the long trip and can run all day and outstage a hot pot.
  13. Early stages of the third. From memory, right after Membrey took a mark on Jetta near the goal square. Edit: Apologies for jumping in, just realised you were quoting another member.
  14. Are you loaded up with Bertocchi hams? Award one to the best caller.
  15. Good to see Lewis defend Jesse on AFL 360 last night when the question was put to him. Lewis said Jesse received unfair treatment and Jesse was actually hurt by the comments. Went on to say he would like to see if any other player would be left standing after a jab/shove like that. Slobbo then asked why Carlisle wasn’t reported to which Lewis replied that’s another question isn’t it.
  16. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with it but as we get to most games early we notice Trac during the warm-up miss a lot of shots at goal. Most of his practice consists of bad angle and snap shots. One of the Fox Footy shows last night made a mention that Breust has the same pre-game routine. 30 metres out and directly in front when practising his goal kicking, keeping it simple.
  17. Where’s your weekly “ will destroy us topic?” It has worked the last two weeks.
  18. Well done Nathan Walker. The first Australian player in the NHL to register a point in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Assisted in Washington’s first goal in game 6 against the Pens. https://www.russianmachineneverbreaks.com/2018/05/07/obviously-alex-chiasson-scored-assist-nathan-walker/
  19. Haha. I’m actually a little surprised Max hasn’t come in a tad from the $26 mark. He’s ranked in the top 3 players in the league at the moment. The disparity in odds between Cripps and Oliver for the Brownlow has me scratching my head. $34 for Cripps currently in a team that’s winless yet Clarry is $101. Is Clarry worth a couple of bucks also?
  20. Clearly evident by winning a hard ball in our defensive goalsquare in the third quarter then following up a minute later kicking a running goal.
  21. You should tweet this twit and ask her for an apology for writing this dribble. Hogan was awarded a free kick, but the karma gods denied him a goal.
  22. I noticed him hunching over prior to the contest you speak of. After the ball was cleared he went straight for a Saints player. Someone next to us stated the Saints player gave Maxy a cheap shot in the back/buttock area on the way to the stoppage.
  23. Have they turned this into a movie yet? Ridiculous story!
  24. Tyson was very good yesterday, especially in the first half. He was everywhere and linked up well. He was ranked as the 3rd most effective player on the ground at half time. For a player not blessed with speed he finds himself in the right spots most of the time. People will use his 7 turnover stat yesterday as a guide to prove their point, but last week he was credited with 1 turnover to Salem’s 9 and nothing was said about Salem yet Tyson still received the usual comments. There must be a lot of Tysons running around the league this year, the average kicking efficiency league wide is at 65%.
