Air Jurrah t-shirts are now on sale. Air Jurrah Central A few points: I am limited to five designs in my store, I have tried to make a good mix of kids, mens and womens t-shirts. You can choose your t-shirt colour. I have chosen five designs that I think work best, you can use those or another colour but note that not all colours are available in all styles of shirt. The new logo only works well on a dark background hence it is on a dark blue shirt. I have trialled the blue Jurrah on a red shirt for the kids shirt, and as much as I like the red and blue I find the design looks best white on a red or blue shirt. Depending on feedback and what is and isn't selling I will change designs, but for the moment I am limited to five designs. Remember, $5 from every sale goes directly to the Mt Theo program. Pistol Clothing say deliveries take five to seven days, I would expect that it would be a bit longer. Great news! Designs have been approved by the site, I will finalise details tonight or tomorrow and you all can buy directly online from then. Tell your friends!

I worry about Melbourne's ability to win the ball in the middle.
-
I liked the idea, but with only two highlights it felt slow and drawn out. Would have been better with say four highlights in the same period of time.
-
I'm tipping Sydney to win comfortably. Even if Scully was playing.

I'm using a site called Pistol Clothing. If I had the time I would do it differently but the way it works is I upload the designs, put them on shirts then people go online (to my own store within the site) and the shirts are printed made to order. It means there is no start up costs for me and I don't have to worry about distribution etc. In other words I don't have to do much once the designs are submitted. The issue is that I am still waiting on my designs to be approved, I tried calling a few times today but no luck so I will try again tomorrow. If by the end of the week I hear nothing I will have to find a new site. Sorry to keep people waiting because I am as keen as anyone to see them. In other news, I will be running a promotion or two to hopefully help generate sales even further. The good people from Mt Theo are on board, all the commission ($5 from each shirt) will go directly to the Mt Theo program. If I do hear from Pistol Clothing I will also try to negotiate a a lower price as the commission is going to a good cause. In the mean time enjoy the teaser that is the "ad", spread the word and hopefully Air Jurrah will be gracing the stands of the MCG very soon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2wj2mHkEfg

That was fairly average.

Apologies all, the supplier that I had chosen are taking their sweet time. I will shop around but they are still my first choice at this stage with what they offer, hopefully they lift their game soon.
-
That would be fantastic.
-
I was hoping they would be ready today, hopefully tomorrow. Sorry about the wait.

Good to see Morton has really bulked up... Morton -
You can't sell a product without making an ad for it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2wj2mHkEfg

Hopefully the shirts will be up tomorrow for people to buy online. Keep an eye on this thread for details. There is a range of colours and styles with the option of choosing your own colour t-shirt if you do not like options provided. $5 from the sale of each shirt will go towards the Mt Theo program. Melbourne's top 10 players going into 2011

1. Frawley 2. Jurrah 3. Green 4. Sylvia 5. Davey 6. Jamar 7. Grimes 8. Moloney 9. Scully 10. Trengove -
Give me a few days to sort it all out, then you will be able to buy them directly online.

Thanks, but it's not MFC related. I just want to see how the shirts sell and if they are selling well I will include a commission (and increase the price as a result) and donate that the Mt Theo program. Adult shirts will be $30 and kids shirts will be $25 to begin with.
-
I have decided to sell both designs however initially I am going to sell them without any commission. I still want to eventually raise money for the Mt Theo program but I will set it up to see how it goes and if it is worthwhile I will increase the price a little to include a commission which will go directly to the Mt Theo program. If the fork is reading this, any feedback would be appreciated.

I might try and contact Nike direct to see if they respond or even care. I do like the original, but the new one has grown on me as it is Jurrah's equivilant "Air Jordan" moment.
-
Depends on the site, there are a lot around. Some sites have a fixed commission where they set the price and the commission always stays the same while for others you choose the commission but higher commission means higher price.
-
What would people be willing to pay for a t-shirt? I am looking at a few options with sites and their prices vary. $20? $30? $40? Remembering that all profits will go be going to the Mt Theo program.
-
If anyone wants to use the Air Jurrah image and get it printed themselves they are more than welcome. The paying for the shirts option just came up after a suggestion from Jaded to donate profits to a good cause.

Following a few suggestions on the MFC t-shirt competition thread I have been persuaded to get some Air Jurrah t-shirts made up, with the profits going to the Mt Theo program in Yuendumu. I've looked into it and for time and money purposes it is much easier to do it with online t-shirt companies that can print and even distribute the t-shirts directly, with a commission sent to myself which I will then pass on to the Mt Theo program. The issue is that to do it this way the deign cannot breach copyright and the Air Jurrah design clearly does that as I just made a few adjustments to the Air Jordan logo. Obviously this is just a small venture but if I can avoid any legal issues I will at all costs. Therefore, I have been playing around with a free Photoshop program called Gimp and have come up with some alternate and original Air Jurrah designs (based off his Mark of the Year photos). Personally, I would much prefer to use the original Air Jurrah but if it is going to be done properly I think it's easier to just leave it. Below I have made a quick example of something, not final just an idea (I had trouble getting a clean outline of Jurrah, hence the filter I put on the image). Therefore, what I would like to know is if you would still be interested in Air Jurrah t-shirts if they aren't the original design and if so would you be interested in something similar as per the design below or is it not worth it at all? Any feedback would be great.

Yes the midfield needs to improve but as we saw against Brisbane often the forward line is starving itself but not having anyone in the forward fifty. Too often players look up but have no none to kick it to, so how can you expect the ball to go inside fifty if there isn't any reason for it to?
-
Great idea. I'm interstate on business but when I get back I will investigate further.

I'll look into it, might just use eBay or something similar.
