Just as much contrast in this logo. Just because a Melbourne supporter, in a thread that is about the jumper notices that the sponsorship wastes a whole lot of white space does not suggest it is working at all. It may be working, but the above logo works just as if not more effectively than the big white slab.

One thing I did like about this years jumper was that the AFL logo was only on the red yolk, it didn't overlap. When the logos on the jumper overlap the patterns it takes away from the design which is key to the jumper, whereas if it is just on the red the design is much clearer. Obviously with the "V" being sharper, the yolk is narrower and there will most likely be an overlap. I like the sharp V, however I would prefer if the top of the V started below the cuffs so that there was both a sharper V and no overlap. I realise I am nit picking, but that's just my take. On the logo, I prefer the more detailed one. In some cases the simple one is needed but I hope the club use the detailed version as much as possible.

I will only ever be happy with the draw when it is an even competition and each team just plays each other once. Having said that, this years is pretty good except for the home game at Docklands, that makes me feel a little ill.

Also it wasn't the case that he couldn't make the distance, he was undecided as to whether have a shot for goal or kick to Petterd.

I like Scully, he will be a gun but his kicking is a major weakness. Bail has far more penetration in his kicking, Scully still pops anything greater than about 30 metres in the air, even Scully himself would concede this.

Bail is a better kick than Scully.

Jurrah isn't just exciting, he is one of the most consistent and I would back him ahead of most players to stand up in a final. 1. Jurrah 2. Petterd 3. Frawley 4. Scully 5. Grimes

That's what I was getting at. The point is, it is the logo, again there may be a second logo (Demon) but this is the logo (it is just called "The Emblem").

Let me clear it up. This (whatever you want to call it) is the logo. Now, there may a separate Demon logo later used for some things (i.e. how the Demon was on membership cards this year), but that image that I just posted is the logo for next year.

As DA pointed out, I put the mullet/fin in already. It is a busy logo, and when small it is a bit messy, but none of the logos look good when small. Simple logos can look fantastic, but so can extravagant ones, it depends on the context. With over 150 years of heritage I feel that this logo is entitled to be extravagant. I think it looks fantastic on the Great Wall of China too.

None of those players on the list have played or performed in finals, so why are they exempt from this? Jurrah, along with Grimes have been the most consistent performers, if anything it is the other players I would be more worried about in finals.
