Vince should have gone to Mitchell. I do understand Jones doing it, however with Viney out we really needed Jones in the guts winning his own ball. This would have allowed Petracca to spend more time forward which we needed.

He's almost at Tom Gillies levels. I said after the Mills punch that I hoped he never played for us again, I really wish that had been the case. For someone who is a good runner, we don't see it in games.

Hawthorn have such a well-drilled system that even with injuries they still function. We rely on sheer grunt and effort, but if it drops off even slightly we are doomed. You can’t be all system or all grunt, you need a balance, ours is way off.

It’s been like that with us for years, even when dry.

Once the ball hits the ground we are completely useless.
