Fair summary.

I’ve said this many times before but our style of play requires so much effort, often for very lttle reward. No surprise we are tired.

Season is over. We are back playing Neeld-era football. My heart breaks for Nathan Jones.

On a night when there was a lot of fumbling (even moreso than usual) we leave out or cleanest player in Fritsch. Not saying we would have won but he would have helped.

As Josh Mahoney said this morning, we are picking teams with tonight's game in mind first and foremost. I understand young players being rested, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to rest after a nine-day break. If it's wet like predicted then all the more reason to play him tonight.

If true, surely you'd rest him before the game which has a five day break, not after a nine day break.

Wet weather is all the more reason to play Fritsch, the boy does not fumble.

The act of intentionally elbowing a player in the head off the ball is what should be punished. If the AFL want to eliminate this from the game then this is the solution. It was probably just pot luck that he didn't connect with Goldstein.
