What makes you think Goodwin is so good? I'm genuinely interested.

State of Origin for Bushfire Appeal
Straight Sets Simon replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm all for it, but it should be Victoria versus South Australia and Western Australia versus and Allies team (which isn't perfect but better than All Stars). -

Happy new year, I hate you all! -
For those who don’t know or can’t remember I originally created the “Air Jurrah” image after his debut against Essendon. I decided to then get the t-shirts made and 100% of profits went to the Mt Theo Program in Yuendumu. From memory we raised about $550. A Demonland member got a tour of the club once and saw the Air Jurrah image in Brent Moloney’s locker:

How much will Melbourne improve in 2020??
Straight Sets Simon replied to Tough Kent's topic in Melbourne Demons
Biggest issue is if we can kick a winning score or not. In 2018 we scored a lot through a game style that required a lot of hard work and running, but not much emphasis on skill. If Tom McDonald can get back to his 2018 form and his toe isn't an issue again (not confident) then we will improve a lot because otherwise I can't see Weideman suddenly doubling his output. -

No, he’s a good pick up who costs nothing. I’m happy about it. -

How is saying he will be our second-best key forward a buzzkill? I'm happy we signed him, it would be a buzzkill if I said he was our worst. -

Its the forward line stupid

Smith and Fritsch could be the x-factor we need because they are both so mobile and have great leaps. -
Frost would be handy.

Weideman's problem is unless the ball is delivered to him on a platter in front of his eyes then he really can't do much else. -

I'm very happy we got Pickett as a genuine small forward was long overdue but unless Tom McDonald can get his foot right and return to his 2018 form our forward line is easily bottom four. -
Simon Goodwin on SEN (28/11/19)

The fact he supports the players challenging score reviews says a lot. -

Who is likely to be the best available midfielder and why aren’t we going for him instead? -

Not thrilled about going for a ruckman when we are still two star midfielders and two star forwards away from being a top four contender.
