  1. I don't need to google, it is a skill that a lot of the posters on here have, enables them to sit back and say "well deep down I always knew Cam Pedersen was a good player"
  2. Yes you have you have nothing valid to add to a topic, you spend most of it taking potshots at other posters, clear as a bell really
  3. All about me again, post on topic, what? we have players who are not men enough to take a bit of criticism, like some on here methinks, some need to grow a pair, I didn't rubbish, I happened to be at the game, so I saw it all live and not out of context, were you? If you weren't then you don't know what happened, which bit don't you get. I will accept criticism of anybody as long as it has some fact behind it, I wasn't a "big fan" of Neeld, he was the coach and some of us on here could see what he was trying to achieve, but it was undermined, there were injuries etc and he went about it the wrong way (hindsight) on occasions and he was found wanting.....won't be the first coach and certainly won't be the last...I have moved on Is Hardwick doing the right thing at the moment, have a look at the Tigers boards today, yet last season he was the Messiah who had got them back in the finals, supporters you gotta lov'em
  4. Thought I saw you chap, yes I agree re Blease but I thought at least he was getting involved, he still picks the wrong option sometimes, just didn't see him trying to create in the 2nd half, thought that is what was asked of him Glad we agree on Jordie, agreed also he does tend to revert to type now and again I have heard that sort of speech from Welsh quite a few times, you would have thought with the strong MFC presence if there was a problem he would be told to desist Thought Fitzy was the other one who was good for the 4 quarters, with a bit of mention of Michie As you said after Welsh's spray, what Allison writes will be even more interesting this week
  5. You always want to make it about me don't you, methinks it is you with the issue, anything to actually add on the topic?
  6. Brett Allison is the Head of Development along with Brad Miller who is a Development Coach, please get the facts straight, if you don't think MFC had input into who is Casey coach you are mistaken, Welsh appears at quite a few training sessions in an MFC polo and goes out onto the ground. Just to put a few more facts on the table, Allison was at Coburg speaking to players in the breaks, so was Jade Rawlings (I saw him have a word to Alex Georgiou), Miller of course was talking to the forwards, Col Garland went into the rooms at half time, so assume as being part of the Leadership group he was there to put in his bit, so MFC is all over the Casey side
  7. Why?, we have posters on here constantly bemoaning the 'spin' they hear from the Club and coaches, (that has changed with Roos), but when a coach comes out and launches a broadside at the players, no spin, he is then criticised...or personally attacked by some of the more less constructive in this topic......I don't have a problem with it, assume if Roos does Welsh will be told.
  8. McKenzie's ball use was good again, I think what disappointed Welsh the most was the Scorps played really well in the first half and had a 30 odd point lead, looked way better than Coburg, then in the second half they went home early, frustration was what you heard in the 3/4 time address, and sheer anger in the newspapers...it will be interesting to read Brett Allison's review this week, as they have been really 'honest' lately
  9. My quote won't work, but considering I sat through the whole game, that gives me the right to express an opinion, again I was disappointed that when the game was on the line only McKenzie and Fitzpatrick gave a yelp, I don't know who was handing out the best, but Tappy was nowhere near, again in my opinion..so DD, rather than personally attack me which is about all you are capable of, come up with something constructive...another example, Blease was excellent in the first half and helped establish the 30 point lead as well as other MFC players, but he went missing in the second half...also take my word for it, Brad Miller was not exactly overjoyed with the 3rd quarter either
  10. There is nothing wrong with Welsh's comments, I was there, 2nd half from MFC listed players was poor, with 2 maybe 3 exceptions, Jordie, Fitzy and Michie
  11. He did the whole session yesterday, which involved contact, not hard contact, but contact nevertheless, previously if a player is concussed in a game they get a week of light duties and no contact at all, I think he got more of a hit to the chin like a boxer, rather than the head as such and so the recovery was quicker
  12. No He is not that type of player at the moment, he is the more see ball get ball, clearance player
  13. When he got the gig as a forward and he played well, he actually made a point of asking me what I thought, (of course with a laugh), I told him he was crap and needed to go back, which he found amusing...said he loved the fact that he was making defenders miserable after putting up with the same for a couple of years
  14. You mean you're undecided? Perhaps he feels like he is sculpting when he writes. He chips away at formless stone until he achieves the "shape" of the story in his mind
  15. What spies?, I was at training, I knew Pigdog was going to play, I was told, I was also told that Terlich plays, so what other information do you have, do you wish to share, I am sure the Richmond FD who read this board are not planning to tag Terls, so it won't matter, you emphasise an unfounded rumour, how do you highlight a fact, the ampersand?
  16. I know in this modern day and age that whatever the player says is not believed because we have all heard it before Chip is happy at the Club, he is in the leadership group, he is a popular member of the squad Just think like some others the last couple of years got him down, he was AA remember then it all went pear shaped I offered him a pen after the Carlton win and he just laughed, rather than ignore or get [censored] off, which shows his attitude I think he is like a lot of players, if the boot was on the other foot, the Club has no qualms about delisting players, I think he just wants a bit of success, if he thinks another club with an offer seems a more viable alternative then he may take it, I really don't think it will come down to money, it will come down to whether he is enjoying his footy and being at the club
  17. For the interstate or overseas posters, there is no need to thank me every time I post a training report, I know it is appreciated I have gained the trust of the players over time and if I ask a question I usually get an honest answer, of course checking that I can 'publish' There are things that I have been told over time that I made my own decision not to 'publish' so you have to bear with me If there is a question on any player that you want answering, then just let me know, they will be having next week off, but will still be getting to training at least twice a month till end of season
  18. Based on what, the runes? Terlich completed every facet of training yesterday, and assured me he was right to go, and he was named
  19. That's why it is taken Gawn so long to get back in, they have been building up his fitness to new levels, he looked very mobile on Thursday, and didn't look knackered after the session as he was a month or so ago
  20. BB it is just east of the corner of Bell St and Sydney Rd in Coburg
  21. WJ, you must have missed Visy last week, in the mud where I thought Hunt would just got knocked out of the way because of his slight build, he actually picked up and took a big step forward, Brett Allison also agreed, that being said at training you can see why we rookied Harmes, hopefully he can pick it up again after a week off Also put this in a couple of threads, Clisby left training yesterday with what looked like tightness in his lower back/glutes/top of thighs, asked him and he said he was fine, but obviously isn't
  22. I still think Matt Jones will be the sub, bash and crash for 3/4 then bring on his run
  23. No he's not, a broken leg stopped him, he had progressed from rookie onto senior list, I reckon Adelaide were too cute in delisting him thinking it would take a year to get back so they thought they would rookie him again To see some of the form he has been playing, have a look at the vision on Club website from last weekend, he is in 55, has a hand in a couple of the goals, watch at 00.19, 1.26, 2.26 or 3.06 or thereabouts
  24. Methinks Matt Jones will be the sub this week, use his run towards the end, give Salem the 'full' game (probably sub him out), and have Riley bashing and crashing, at training the forward line up, put this in the training report as well was Gawn, Dawes, Pedersen, Watts, Bail and Salem
  25. He left training early yesterday, seemed to have a bit of tightness in his back/hammy, had one of the physios trying to loosen it up, said he was ok, but obviously not
