I actually like watching footy, don't need to bet on it, or have a beer, or deride players whilst doing it
-
Oh humour, well I think it was I actually have the social skills to get out from behind my keyboard and talk to people face to face you want to try it sometime, that's if your mum will let you out Wins are good, if we are good enough we will get them
-
I was talking about posters on here not the players, if actually read what I typed
-
Same as you, I am allowed to, it is a public forum, I don't rubbish , read all the posts, for the majority winning is all that matters, why read my posts if you don't like them, I have quite a few posters I don't read now, unless I am quoted. I will continue to post what I like, if that is ok with you?

Who are the Dees chasing for 2017 and at what cost?
Satyriconhome replied to junk's topic in Melbourne Demons
Then you must be concerned about every sport, because you can guarantee it is happening Melksham will have paid a heavy price for his naivety, done his time, he should be allowed to move on Assume you have the cleanest skin in your endeavours in life, I know I don't Went nude to training once, players asked me what I was wearng coz it needed ironing -

Of course you can think what you like, it shows exactly what kind of person you are I'll have to make sure I welcome him back at first day of pre season training -
Now I am discombobulated
-
Gee Nash the administration role is really taking a toll on you, articulate can also mean having joints or jointed segments, giving something the ability to twist and turn, it was a joke on language
-
I have been looking at Demonland all evening looking for a laugh, thank you
-
You mean their ability to twist and turn to suit whichever way the discussion in a topic is going
-
Perfect answer, but wasted on here, win, win, win, win is all that matters

If you are talking about Melksham, in your usual disrespectful way, he is in a really good space, he is like the others and gone overseas, but is keeping his fitness regime up to the level required to start pre season in great shape -

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 18
Satyriconhome replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
rjay, this is Demonland, Grimes will probably exit the club after giving his all, with a thousand knives stuck in his back from posters on here, makes them feel better you must remember that, you see and hear them at the footy, beer in hand "I can play better than that, that's why I am sitting here and they are on the ground" -
So you don't take footy seriously at all then?.......It's footy..........of course the players feel the losses, if you don't think that then you have never played sport, we have a young inexperienced team, that has terrible patches of inconsistency, who says St Kilda who are much the same aren't going to get absolutely pummelled by the Bulldogs this weekend Some time in the next season or two, the inexperienced team will finally click, we are coming from so far back, Roos said three years minimum to get the team anywhere near where it should be to be in finals, this is year 3, the players we want to keep going forward are being signed up, we have not been on the end of 70 point plus hidings (hopefully that won't happen this weekend), so in my mind we have improved, but being the most inexperienced side we are consistently inconsistent at he moment, but that will change

Fondest Melbourne Demons memory

I was a asked a question, I answered and put it in context A Liverpudlian who feels inferior, not in the DNA old chap Why did you read my post , natural curiosity? Or some otheR issue such as envy as we are analysing This is topic about favourite Dees moment, do we need to say somebody who picked a piece of mindless violence on the field has an issue? -

For what I am criticised for, hanging over the fence at training being a fanboy, also doing bits and pieces makes me a face to trust So leant on fence with Jim watching training and discussing his career, the players we had at the time, his hopes for the club, etc etc Also had the chance to chat to Brett Burton, Gary Lyon, Phil Krakoeur, Todd Viney and quite a few others at training -

Having the opportunity to sit for half an hour and talk footy with Jim Stynes -
Everybody knows what the issues are, or the perceived issues I walked away from Etihad totally disappointed by what I had witnessed, but it's footy, nobody died, so I will watch the game at the weekend hoping for a better effort. Some supporters seem to care what other teams supporters think of the team, I can't understand why, coz I don'tgive a flying. Is it a craving for acceptance like in the schoolyard . I believe if we all suck it up, the team can improve and we can give finals a shake but we need a little bit of luck as well My whole concern was Ox headline grabbing, gets the radio station named in the newspaper, was that the aim? Why is a person who questions his motives a soft [censored], I have no great love for any of the media footy 'commentators, I think a lot of them now try and make the news rather than reporting it

So inconsistency and lack of intensity are something new for MFC teams, we all seem to have short memories or rose coloured history glasses

Neeld gave the impression he was doing a good job, similar to Voss at Brisbane, Malthouse at Carlton etc etc I was speaking to the players at that time and most thought they were on the correct path, few had some doubts and in hindsight they were correct but Neeld was on a hiding to nothing, and was a dead man walking when he came to the Club he needed support which he didn't get. Personally I wanted a more experienced coach because I thought that is what we needed at that time, but the field was limited. Hence why PJ went for Roos 2 years later with 2 more years of damage to fix A lot is brought on by the media these days anyway once they smell blood, hence my questioning on why the Ox is going down that path wants Goodwin gone before he starts?
-
And the reasons? Your evasion skills would get you a role as a small forward. I would agree on Ox's skillset as a player, but this topic is not about his playing days it is about his role in the media, the question needs to be asked what was he trying to achieve, or was he just venting, which achieves nothing except maybe making himself feel better. I mean he was stating the obvious, none of the 'supporters' at Etihad who sat through the 3 quarters served up, left feeling nothing but disappointment . But that is it, move on to next game, it makes little difference in the scheme of things what any of us think, but if you think the Club doesn't know and understand how supporters feel then that's your problem Whether the Club can turn the exciting bunch of youngsters we have now into a flag winning team, who knows, but I am up for the ride, if the Ox thinks he can help then I suggest he kill the media career and go down the coaching path. But you also need to ask if he is that good at coaching and analysis, why he didn't do that first up maybe it was too hard for him
-
I am actually in agreement on the luck, but sometimes you also make your own Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your view of modern footy, sheer talent isn't enough now, and unfortunately we went through a period of recruiting just footy players, if you get my meaning, we have now rectified that But even though some bemoan them, we have to/must adopt some of the 'playing' style of Hawthorn, it is the template for the modern game
-
Why are you shouting, I may be old but not deaf, it is an opinion on his commentary on radio I'll repeat it again, respect for what he achieved as a player for MFC Not so much post, tries too hard for the headline Can I ask why you are continuing to read my posts?
-
So it was poor development and recruiting sounds familiar
