Satyriconhome replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons

What you have to remember is the actual size of the brain which explodes, some on here would barely disturb their fringe -
Is that from a mysoginistic or fashionista point of view?
-
But it is my opinion Moonie, if you consider it a lie, that's entirely up to you, think I can live with it. Could say exactly the same about your epistles, but too polite to do that In my opinion, Spencer has been in the delist or trade topics for at least the last four years
-
Does the term 'when hell freezes over" ring any bells because that is when maybe the real people responsible for whole shambles will accept responsibility MFC were accused and found guilty of tanking, which in a way is cheating, so the old adage of glass houses etc, we have moved on so EFC and their players should be allowed to as well
-
Maybe the thread/tooic didn't need to be started at all, the issue has been done to death in at least 3 other topics
-
This Moonie, or is this not garbage as well? Qualified - most - a large number, why a poll or should I have put many? I haven't got the wherewithal to speak for some on here or have I, it was my opinion chap
-
Agree, bur Spencer is unfairly maligned on here, never let the team down when given the opportunity But if we are going down that path, not sure a VFL ruckman is the 'instant' answer, and there is not much out there, in my opinion Some have mentioned Minson, he is playing VFL for a reason, we will see how he goes against Pencil and McInerny this weekend
-
Don't spoil it Moonie, I agree he looks ok, but most want Spencer out of the club so have decided we need a ruckman forward, seen too many that look like a million dollars in the VFL and then just can't make the transiition. Think Plapp will have most input if we decide we want to make a play for him, but assume with his showing in last couple of weeks we won't be only ones interested, if in fact we are
-
No, just not a fan of managers, of any sort, they have 'ruined' Soccer in England, Connors offered nothing new up, we all know what he repeated, which is repeated on here ad infinitum, still not a fan of Barlow either, but if the club goes with the more 'experienced' player they will have their reasons
-
Then why read and reply to it, gee you make me laugh, you, DD, SWYL and a couple of others sitting atop Mt Olympus, looking down on us mere mortals, I applaud the absurdity of Pickets post
-
coz he's not heavy?
-
Connors is a manager he has his own interests at heart and then the players, what he said was drovers dog stuff, nothing new
-
Why? Not a fan of Barlow, been struggling for consistency last couple of years
-
You are joking right, you need to get out more I do remember the dishwashing/washing liquid as well, maybe now that's high octane petrol?

You added to it, everybody is entitled to an opinion old chap, most want to see Hogan stay, the majority will move on if he moves back to WA, including me -

Believe the paper they have been preparing for last 8 years is ready to be published.....peer reviewed by SWYL, Stuie, Picket, BBO and myself, that should have it covered -

What I said is that they all consider it, not all jump ship, and I should qualify it maybe, money is also a consideration -

I assume it is a black comedy starring the CFMEU and Gatto You only a need a synopsis based on the last few pages of this topic and you would have a classic psycho-drama on your hands Although I think somebody has already had a crack at it -

So if he has a terrible year in front of goal and his value drops like a stone, he is 'tanking', so he feels more comfortable when he finally decides to leave We should all combine to write a novel, it would be a best seller -

Any good player does that Daisy, especially ones who know they are coveted by other teams, the ultimate prize for a player is a premiership, if Hogan doesn't think we are near one, he may well move, Watts had the opportunity this year and stayed, so did others -

No what it is saying, is what every other player says to their manager, except Hogan has to publicly state it, I have another year on my contract to run, I'll give it everything I have got for this year, coz if I don't my value and bargaining power will drop, but I will then decide what the next step in my career is to be
