Goodwin shows some emotion...finally
It was along the lines of, 'well Simon, some of the more over emotive types on Demonland would like you to be a little bit more animated in the box, coz the broadcasters need vision of you going ape****, to give those boring as bat**** commentators and media hacks something to talk about, ok?'

Goodwin shows some emotion...finally
Which contradicts the vision last week where Goodwin said 'I won't be sending messages out 're execution'

Goodwin shows some emotion...finally
Not denying it, just asking you to back up a claim you made Are you in contact with those in the Manly Hub or Bartlett or Pert, coz he would only listen to either Richo or those 2, if in fact he has been told at all Coz if you are not in contact with those 3, you are getting it second hand Whereas when Chaplin was asked the question, he answered directly to those online

Your opinion, I have been told the opposite And heard it repeated by a coach recently Care to name your source? Mine was Troy Chaplin, in an online briefing for members

Goodwin shows some emotion...finally
You really think he pays any attention to noise I asked other coaches about his demeanour in the box, answer if he is too busy melting, he is not coaching You will get the occasional annoyance, but straight back to business He is not the type and I prefer the way he is, trying to teach the players to stay calm and collected, not a good example if he is going off in the box

What they're saying down at Glenferrie Road
Absolutely hilarious, agreeing with opposition supporters personally don't give a flying [censored] what Hawks supporters think Our midfield was selected to grow and mature together, unfortunately injuries such as Viney's foot, Brayshaw's concussion, Trac's knee have got in the way Last week started to look like they are all on same page, finally, we just need the consistency now, which comes from playing games together

TEAMS: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Where's Echuca, anything outside of Inner Melbourne, I'm lost Been told some watched them train at Manly, but were kept at a distance Assume Gold Coast will be the same I noticed they went indoors for 'craft' this week, assume to practice some set ups away from eyes Goody used to take them to a private school oval or the like for these type of sessions, when we used to have footy in Melb, if anyone can remember that

So you don't want racism to be eradicated Your suggestion that it is 'pontificating seems to suggest that There are more ways and channels to 'educated But then again you can only do that to those who want to be 'educated I personally don't condone racism against anybody, but it is a convenience for racists to play the victim card, a la Trump

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
A couple of stats to help you a bit ANB tackles per game career average 4.05 Tackles in 2018 when we made the prelim 118 Averages 5 contested possession a game, which is on par with Mitch Hannan and Jake Melksham At the moment other players are preferred for his role, Upto him to get back in the team

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
If you must try and debate, please check your facts, it is common knowledge , even on here, the reason he kept his place in the team was due to his 2 way running and pressure acts If you don't know how important pressure acts are in modern footy, I suggest you do a bit of research It was at least a tackle a game At the moment we have gone with a couple of different looks in the fwds I also didn't say anything about dropping anybody, I said he will have to earn his spot back His name is also Alex Neal Bullen Not Australian Business Number I personally want no change to try and get a bit of consistency, but maybe Jones has done enough to force a change

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
ANB was the leader in the team for pressure acts, to be able to do this, you need to be able to read the play. Note he was also doing at least 1 tackle a game, so not soft The one good thing at the moment is that we have a full healthy list to pick from Up to ANB, like Weideman, Hibberd and Jetta before him, to get back into the team

@binman won't quote your whole post, agree totally re Goodes If Australia needed reminding that it still had a long way to go, the treatment of Goodes was that reminder, unfortunately as it falls off the front pages, it is soon forgotten That is why the calling out of racism is so important, we can bring it to the front again And try and keep it at the front

Unfortunately you are still not getting it Indigenous people didn't win the right to vote, they should have had it in the first place, so it is not a positive Deaths in custody are still happening, it is not the past Racism is also not exclusively about the Indigenous of Australia, it is about Asians being harassed over COVID19, unfortunately led by the CinC Trump, which in his case is Clown in Chief, Racial profiling of Africans, I had to step in at JB Hifi as the security guy waved a line of customers through but stopped 2 'African' kids for a bag check , I accused him of racial profiling, they had been in exactly the same area of store as me and had done nothing untoward, all 3 of us were quickly ushered out of the store I could go on but won't

Racial Vilification of Harley Bennell
Unfortunately on this occasion you are sadly wrong and to use this topic as a way of again trying to demean me says more about you than me During the past ten years, after training, functions, online etc I have had many a discussion with Nev about racism, also discussed the issue with Nev Snr and Lynette, Matty Whelan and Indigenous acquaintances and work colleagues This was on my part to gain a greater understanding of the issues faced by not only Indigenous players, but the greater indigenous community and the impact it has So I could offer my support in whatever way I could, which included attending the March a few weeks back The Noongar word I have on my jumper is chosen by Nev, not me, to reflect what he wants me to represent, last season was Family, this year is Knowledge You also don't have to be Indigenous to experience racism, as you have found yourself and I have witnessed first hand and experienced both here and overseas Unfortunately Australia likes to think that there is no racism, which is wrong

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Read my post, he wasn't Nev's direct opponent on some occasions Don't have an unhealthy obsession, we have mutual respect, something I find hard to have with some of the posts 're Nev in this topic The tap was to Langdon who was goal side of Rankine, he was flat footed, could have grabbed Rankine

I am not inserting myself, the point I am making is unless there are serious consequences to perpetrators of hate , in any form, racism being one of the more prominent, the behaviour will continue unabated This issue has a lot to do with me, not only do I have family, friends and acquaintances who have been racially vilified hence my abhorrence,I it has also been aimed at Nev more than once in the ten years I have proudly worn his number on my back So please don't lecture me on how important it is to stamp out racism
