  1. A place is fine Binman, often its a better pick as long as the odds are reasonable. Have ya got a horse and race number there old chap?
  2. They do have their stories dont they. I once had Russell Robinson shooting for goal after the final siren with Melbourne leading Collingwood by 14pts. Of course i had either side under 15.5 and it was the 6th leg of a 4 figure sum multi......he missed. I never cheered so hard for a point in my whole life! ...and laying off on the last leg is just another bonus i reckon.
  3. Well i think its great you could get a 3 figure collect for a cup of coffee.......that was my whole point of the thread and multis in general. I once won 2400 on 6 matches for an outlay of 2 cups of coffee. That means i can put a cup of coffee bet on every round for the next 12 footy seasons before i start giving it back. I think thats where multis really stand out. Sure its hard to get them and you arent gonna do it every week, but for small outlays you are basically playing with their money and not your.
  4. Yeah i love the wake up and win....have a coffee and check the results......nothing better. Great you got a 4 fig result, thats great to hear. They say you shouldnt chase your losses and thats true, but i think reloading on multis is different.
  5. This weeks Monkey Business special comes up in the Czech Druha Liga (divi 2)....and its the classic encounter of .... Dynamo Ceske Budejovice v Usti Nad Labem We like the home team of Dynamo.....paying $1.85....Get on!
  6. Oh right sorry i just noticed you have Penrith tonight..., i will take back what i said, GO PENRITH! Thats in less than 5 hours so...... Best Bets: NRL St George Illawarrav v Canterbury Bulldogs, St George -4.5 $1.92 AFL Melbourne v GWS Melbourne 1-39 $2.15 (i know ive gone for us again, but it does seem a good thing) New Zealand v Penrith - Penrith Win $2.30 Brisbane v West Coast - Brisbane +9.5 $1.90 Manchester City Win & More Than 2.5 Goals in the Match $1.75 @ Wolves Juventus Win & More Than 2.5 Goals in the Match $2.00 vs Lazio So for your $1 this week its a return of $63 approx. Id take that in a heartbeat! Take em anyway you like...good luck team.
  7. i was joking of course.... Dont trust Penrith atm, and Storm lost this game to Gold Coast 36-38 last year, so staying away from that as well.......still looking for my best.....will put them up soon.
  8. Nice contribution there Macca. I took Avilius in a multi already....think its a good thing.
  9. Its ok, i really dont know all the soccer leagues that well, but also perhaps other readers and not posters may look at these. We do get a few views i guess. I do know Cristiano went there tho!
  10. K, sorry not sure.... so Juventus is in Italian league? Nice selections by the way..
  11. No way Haukur will lose to Fram at home!
  12. Best Bets (so far) Rosehill Race 2 No.4 Impavido $5.50 Rosehill Race 6 No 3 Danawi $3.80 Rosehill Race 5 No 1 Performer $3.70 Approx $77 for your $1 outlay so far. We await the mighty Binman.....
  13. Will they be using any C4 behind the stalls DZ?
  14. That is GOLD Moonshadow.
  15. Great thanks!.......its not that far off the mark if they bring the sort of attitude they did last week.
  16. Sorry, but i had to call it. For a second there i thought, wow racing at both Sydney venues! Yeah thats really why i took the horse i did just couldnt find anything else. Although when in doubt there is always Jamie Kah in Adelaide. Seriously every 2nd ride shes winning. Look for a Weir/Kah combo perhaps.
  17. Thats an interesting one Macca, didnt see that last time it ran. Is it being set for the Cups? $1.85 atm is ok for a leg in a multi.
  18. Psssst: all the other horses are running at Rosehill, so it should [censored] it in.
  19. Guess come election time Bill Shorten will be the next Prime Minister via the Bradbury Effect...
  20. Went to school with some of these guys, and have heard this song for a long time, so finally i can listen to it and think about us.
  21. O No DZ, of course not....we welcome bets from all corners of the globe here, hoping to get that vital combination of winners! I was merely suggesting it helps if we know where to look!
  22. What i like about that sort of bet in the soccer is that there is no draw involved. I like to have a go at the soccer sometimes, but the dreaded draw is always looming. I dont see how you can look at form for 2 teams and then select a draw. Maybe once in a while but not often. A great mixture of sport from all corners of the globe and at home this weekend. We got a few selections up last week. I must admit, i didnt count on the Demons playing so well, so i went a bit each way with the under 15.5 selection. In the end it was 17 pts with the last goal coming in the last minute, which is often the way with margin betting, but you get a bit of a run for your money so to speak. I would also like to point out that it would be good if people could point out where the actual bet is. I had trouble finding a few last week. For example if you want an Iceland 2nd division team that happens to be playing their home game in Germany that weekend because the stadium was taken out by a volcano, would be good to mention the specifics of the bet. The actual league its in and where etc etc. Try also to get them in at least 5 hours before kickoff so that others have time to get on. Im sure we will refine everything as we go along.
  23. Best Bet: Rosehill Race 5 No 1 Performer $3.70 I know its a little early but ive had a good look, and with Santos and the other one out, Performer is standing out i reckon. Won at track and distance and good price, just hang on Bowman!
  24. Vega: Vega is the 5th brightest star in the night sky and at only 25 light years away is one of the brightest stars in our neighborhood. Vega has been extensively studied by astronomers and is regarded by many as the most important star in the sky next to the sun. Some believe it may be the most likely place to find life outside our solar system. In 12000 BC it was the North Pole Star. In Alaska, Canada and most of Europe Vega never sets. Unlike other stars, it has a unique bluish-white color. Based on an observed excess emission of infrared radiation, likely to be the result of collisions between objects in an orbiting debris field, Vega appears to have a disk of dust. Stars that display an infrared excess due to dust emission are termed Vega-like stars. .....so, now you know why its called Vega Magic. ....yes i have a slow day..
