  1. Vega: Vega is the 5th brightest star in the night sky and at only 25 light years away is one of the brightest stars in our neighborhood. Vega has been extensively studied by astronomers and is regarded by many as the most important star in the sky next to the sun. Some believe it may be the most likely place to find life outside our solar system. In 12000 BC it was the North Pole Star. In Alaska, Canada and most of Europe Vega never sets. Unlike other stars, it has a unique bluish-white color. Based on an observed excess emission of infrared radiation, likely to be the result of collisions between objects in an orbiting debris field, Vega appears to have a disk of dust. Stars that display an infrared excess due to dust emission are termed Vega-like stars. .....so, now you know why its called Vega Magic. ....yes i have a slow day..

  3. Id love to know the dollar value of that field........30m? Pfft..
  4. Bugger....guess we are on Performer then....? Edit: who is going to be Santos usual rider? Does he have one??
  5. Take the 30c.....you can get a beer for that in the Czech Republic...
  6. To be honest i never really liked them because teams are so unpredictable for short periods in matches...take Carlton today for instance. It only takes a roll of 4 goals and its all changed. But yes if you can snag one before the bookies are onto it, that would be unreal!
  7. Was at the Caulfield Cup that day when Delta Blues and Pop Rock took the quinella. We walked past the stable before the race and there was about 20 Japanese people inside jumping up and down.....me and my mate really noticed it and put some bets on. Did well that day.
  8. Such weirdo names....but then everything in japan is weird......i like the Basil
  9. Yes i thought you and Nostradamus were cousins....now we know. Hey Melb, Melb, Melb Melb was the hindsight bet....was paying 21s too i think..go Dees....what a win!
  10. Yep, im all for a cup watch and throwing on some early bets before the odds come in. The Jap raider has my interest. Tosen Basil currently 16/1

He seems to regularly start at the centre bounce lately......really great comback from where he was 12m ago. easily the most improved Dee and could be anything. he and Melksham are real weapons going forward.
  12. I see Paddy Payne put a couple in. I like to follow Paddy. He trains them very well.
  13. .....sounds familiar DZ. Its no accident you follow these teams....you realize that dont you.
  14. God 7-1? Did Messi get a transfer to there!?? I sure will My apologies DZ i thought you picked Tottenham (you did last week?) Anyway the point was we got a few winners with one leg to go today. Pity about Penrith....that was really a shock result and i thought you were right on the money there.
  15. Yep, right on the money Macca. I thought i was lucky to witness Sunline and Makbe Diva, but these 2 are in a class of their own esp Winx. Speaking of champions the races are on at Ballarat today....DK Weir anyone? I notice he only has a couple in today, both favourites in race 1 and 4. Not paying that much but multi them up with a few other place getters or a fav from somewhere else perhaps. Some great wins yesterday. Well done team.
  16. So the overnight results are in and well done to both Macca and DZ for correctly selecting their margin bets. South Africa to beat Argentina 13+, and it was actually right on the margin with a score of 13pts the difference. The EPL score was Tottenham 3 Fullam 1 so Tottenham the win and +2.5 goals I picked up a multi including those selections so the thread is off to a good start.
  17. Well now that you put it that way, ive thrown that bulldogs selection in a multi for today. I guess that when you put it that way for one sided affairs it def worth a look although ive seen it as low as 1.22 at times. EDIT: I found a good one.....Melb, Melb, Melb, WC....paying 21.
  18. Ive rarely done it. I think its a weird one because teams not predictable all match. I do note most afl games very close so far this round. So 1-39 and either u15.5 is a good option this week and maybe next.
  19. I was just wondering because my mate said the TAB didnt have a line on the match......which i found strange
  20. Did you see that at the TAB? 13+??
  21. Any idea of the score in the Bledisloe?
  22. I just sometimes think finding 3 or 4 sports winners can be easier than racing. I feel there are a lot more unknowns for instance as you said today, 1st up...we dont know how forward the trainer has prepared the horse. Well thats exactly right, you dont. The margin is really the hard part. But it will give you the odds. If you get odds around those you mentioned in a mutli with a few legs....its a decent return. I wont make the 1.00am, but i have a look in the morning.
  23. There was a cash out offer there all game........but when the swans got to 20 points in front , it disappeared......ok fair enough, but then GWS kicked a goal to put it back to 14pts. I expected the cash out to reappear, but it didnt. Harsh I have one multi left going into your rugby leg as the last leg, so all is not lost. Do you know what time that is on?
  24. I did as well...had Le Romain, Sunlight and Osborne Bulls into Sydney /GWS either side under 15.5........i was trying to cash out on 14points with 30 sec to go....but i couldnt.....there was no offer. Bastardos
  25. We were lucky to witness it. Will be talked about for decades
