  1. Gee, we are on TV nearly every week lately?.....wait until next year!
  2. Vega: Vega is the 5th brightest star in the night sky and at only 25 light years away is one of the brightest stars in our neighborhood. Vega has been extensively studied by astronomers and is regarded by many as the most important star in the sky next to the sun. Some believe it may be the most likely place to find life outside our solar system. In 12000 BC it was the North Pole Star. In Alaska, Canada and most of Europe Vega never sets. Unlike other stars, it has a unique bluish-white color. Based on an observed excess emission of infrared radiation, likely to be the result of collisions between objects in an orbiting debris field, Vega appears to have a disk of dust. Stars that display an infrared excess due to dust emission are termed Vega-like stars. .....so, now you know why its called Vega Magic. ....yes i have a slow day..

  5. Bugger....guess we are on Performer then....? Edit: who is going to be Santos usual rider? Does he have one??
  6. Yes the umpiring was indeed strange. But what I actually noticed were some glints in the grass on certain angles reflecting sunlight. This could only indicate the use of magnets and may also explain why some players were continuously falling over......ditto the Sydney game.
  7. I would love to see a picture of that ladder...
  8. Hey Chris, bet you were celebrating pretty hard mate, when those brown paper bag payments were coming through huh? Would have been a few high 5s then buddy.....
  9. So, um what are you actually saying Chris? Anything??
  10. Eggzactly LH. I like the last comment there.... "the only one who didnt have his eyes where they should have been, was the umpire."
  11. 1500 fine to AVB for contact with Riolli.....Phew..
  12. Me too, just want to listen to the radio, read the newspaper and see if i can find my 1980s footy cards
  13. Well put Cards, beautifully spoken....oh and a big shout out to Essendon for Milkshake and Hibberd. Thanks Dons, youve really contributed a hell of a lot to our team and season at much sacrifice to yourselves......have a great holiday.
  14. Take the 30c.....you can get a beer for that in the Czech Republic...
  15. I see we are 1.50 with a line of 12.5 v GWS next week. We are also now 12/1 for the flag Clarrie is 13s for the Brownlow and Max out to 21
  16. To be honest i never really liked them because teams are so unpredictable for short periods in matches...take Carlton today for instance. It only takes a roll of 4 goals and its all changed. But yes if you can snag one before the bookies are onto it, that would be unreal!
  17. Yes i was alluding to that a bit AF, but hes had a pretty good year before he was injured....and hes been injured since the break i reckon. I dont think he played there last year when we won......
  18. Was at the Caulfield Cup that day when Delta Blues and Pop Rock took the quinella. We walked past the stable before the race and there was about 20 Japanese people inside jumping up and down.....me and my mate really noticed it and put some bets on. Did well that day.
  19. Such weirdo names....but then everything in japan is weird......i like the Basil
  20. Yes i thought you and Nostradamus were cousins....now we know. Hey Melb, Melb, Melb Melb was the hindsight bet....was paying 21s too i think..go Dees....what a win!
  21. Yep, im all for a cup watch and throwing on some early bets before the odds come in. The Jap raider has my interest. Tosen Basil currently 16/1
  22. He seems to regularly start at the centre bounce lately......really great comback from where he was 12m ago. easily the most improved Dee and could be anything. he and Melksham are real weapons going forward.
