Casey Demons: 2019
Cory Machaya out for 2019. ACL. Huge blow. Was showing huge promise.

Casey Demons: 2019
5-6 experienced heads, a few 1-2 years and then some kids or suburban footy players trying their hand. A fairly light group compared with others but still a chance for top 4 in 2019. Buxton-Wales will be a good pickup. Good player. McCaffrey also could surprise a few.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
Lockhart showed enough to be close to AFL ready last year. With a preseason now he could be very handy as a backup for Jetta or a lockdown mid. Definitely shows we nearly drafted him last year.

Casey Demons: 2019
Unfortunately Casey May have to use Sam Frost as a ruck role. Shows they havenโt addressed the key reason they lost the 2018 GF.

How the New Recruits are Tracking
Yes I think 90% of demonlanders and observers think Sparrow will play for MFC in 2019. But Iโm happy if he has a full year at Casey. That would mean we had enough mids and low injuries. He probably gets a game if we start to run down midfield stocks. Wagner is the same. Handy depth. Hore is a very good signing and should see some MFC game time. Lewis could get rested during this year and Lever is unlikely to be ready for Round 1. Most of the others should have a year to develop at Casey with no pressure to step up just yet.

Players of note 2019
Petracca to step up and become A grade. May to be the general. Lever to comeback as a premier defender. Garlett to find his mojo. KK to showcase his talent. Preuss and Gawn to dominate and physically intimidate other club ruckmen.

New Major Sponsor - Jaguar CONFIRMED
Amazon anyone? That would be a point of difference. Dees need to think long term about new rising companies of scale. Amazon fits.

Casey Demons: 2019
Yes 60 players confirmed on MFC and Casey lists. Not sure many of the Casey boys get a run unless we cop injuries. Hope we donโt but get a chance to rotate our youngsters in their first year.
-
Casey Demons: 2019
Most recruits are utility types, midfielders and running defenders. Buxton-Wales is a young ruckman from Vermont. Casey will be a running type side. McCaffrey could be a steal. Former Swans academy player (now 21) with 3 years in Country footy. Strong running mid.

Casey Demons: 2019
Interesting to know where Tom Freeman plays in 2019. I was impressed with him in the 4-5 games late in the season. Also Casey could not attract any ex Afl listed players. Thought our Casey alignment showed a pathway back like Corey Wagner showed.
