That's exactly right. We don't want another 8+ players coming into the club next off season because that will mean those new players will take 12 months to learn the game plan and gel with the team. The starting 22 needs to be fairly stable by the time Goody take over.

He's actually a pretty big boy. I was looking through all the sizes of the guys on the MFC app and Sam is 2cm taller and 1kg bigger then Sam Frost and He's a man mountain. Give him a pre season on an AFL program and he should put on another couple more KGs, CP5 weighs the same but is 10cm shorter then him, what a tank!!

And didn't Watts start his career at 75-80kg?

This was the one guy I wanted In this years draft and when It was talked about that Essendon was going to take him with one of there picks I had given up hope so for us to grab him with our second pick makes me very very happy. Now let's hope we speak of the amazing era when Hogen and Weiderman dominating our forward line for many years to come!!

I'm a lot more impressed in his video clips then Parish's, I'm jumping on the bandwagon with you!!

In one of the clips there's Parish trying to tackle Oliver and Parish couldn't even hang onto him. That makes me think how is Parish going to go tackling men when he can't even tackle someone his own age? Roos midfield prototype is big Bodied tackling machines, this guy fit that mould.

These Phantom Drafts are starting to get a bit confusing considering the amount of Academy players in the top 10.

That makes me think, will you win a premiership by throwing all your cash at one A grade player? or is it a better idea to build a team of solid contributes who can play there role?

Weideman reminds me of Cruser, a tall thin forward/ruck who will take years to develop.

I agree, they wouldn't have traded there future 2016 pick unless they were after someone special that they knew this type of player won't be around there pick next year.The deal to get pick 3 and 7 was not thought of last minute. They know who they want and were they need to be in this draft to get them.

Looks like a good Junior player. If he can play like that at the next level he will be a star but we all know how these young blokes don't always play to there picking order. I will wait till this time next year before I get excited about our draft picks.
